JLP WON LOCAL GOV ELECTION, NO?
The Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) won yesterdays Local Government Elections, taking eight of the countrys 13 parish councils, including the prized Kingston and St Andrew Corporation, in a poll marked by extremely low voter turnout, signalling widespread disinterest in a governance system hobbled by poor credibility.

you can't beat a newly elected government/party in local government elections, that $600 million is only a fraction of the total cost to tax payers.
