The Kent connection.....

Larr Pullo 2016-12-13 08:07:23

Adams as director

Law as head coach (He was a very good batsman)

Any role for CL Hooper?

Good note...Hooper was a Kent superstar and his batting skills is without doubt. the question tho is, didn't he replace Adams as Windies skipper and maybe that might be a bad feeling ting..

Jimmy gave the captaincy back to Lara IIRC. I think them guys good. Law also has great respect for Carl having captained him for a few seasons.

Hoops....he is the one past player that I believe the fellas would respect.....would he be interested in being in this toxic set-up though?

I think Hoops would make a great batting coach, however, I'm not sure if he can make a difference at Test level. Maybe he is best suited at the U-19 level where he can mold some of these youngsters in to proper batsmen!

It's easy to respect Hoops from an ease and aesthetics point of view, but it would difficult to take him seriously knowing he almost always gave it away when he got to 35.

Cherri you are right, it was Lance where he played with Hoops, while Hoops did play with Kent in his early county stint.

how many of you doctors and lawyers ignored your teachers because you thought they were not "bright enough"?

there are examples of good coaches in intl cricket who themselves were not excellent intl cricketers
