Time will tell. But the ground is small and once he gets accustomed he will take his share.

Will he turn up on the big occasions? The jury is still out. lol

Currently Yard cricket in precarious state but on a positive note hopefully it opens up an opportunity for a young player to display his skills to the world.

Funny you should say that. I am more positive about Ja cricket now than at any time during the last 5 years. The presence of Blackwood, King and R. Powell in the Ja middle order is a very positive development from my viewpoint. I like attacking cricket but it only works if most of the team is capable of playing that style.

I believe the UWI presence in the club competition will have a positive benefit especially for youngsters who are not stars leaving school but are academically able to get to UWI. Their presence could change the cricket culture in Ja.

Very interesting swap for Tallawahs who get Evin Lewis in place of Chris. Should be a great season for both teams.

I was thinking this would be a good day for you to re-read my last post of Dec 15 above. lol

It seems from the VOR (Brandon King) post that everyone now thinks it was so obvious. lol

Who would have thunk that the Yardie franchise Player and Champion Captain would turn his back in search of greener pastures...It must be the money....

In reply to Headley Considering his wife-to-be and her family are from St Kitts, his brother in law to be is the COO of the Patriots, and the owner of Patriots, Uday Nayak, is a good friend of Gayle's, he is certainly building close ties with the island. But i do know it actually came down to money lol.

Many are surprised by the move but Kittians and Yardies are always cool with each other unlike other islands rivalry. Short trip from USVI to St. Kitts to watch world cricket boss in action!
