According to Basketball-Reference.com, Kristaps Porzingis is the 12th player since 1983 to have 1,500-plus points and 175-plus blocks in his first 100 games. Others on that list include Hakeem Olajuwon, Patrick Ewing, Anthony Davis and Shaquille ONeal.
Hug that up, bitches.

Come back and talk about KP when he has become an All-Star or win an MBA Championship. His first 100 games means nothing. Way too early in his career to make any assumption.

Daddy, I've been on Basketball-Reference.com - don't see any article with breakdown. I checked his stats page - if you daddy have a simple URL that directly links and can save your son 3.4 mins, leh me know. Thanks.

Agree, wont be the first or last shooting star to fade after a few seasons. But the talent is there though...

When I send my sons off into the world, I can't be expected to pay their rent for them. The data is there, sortable, findable. Go forth my son.

Funny about this Melo guy who is a multiple all star and has won nothing.
After all that rarely happens. Smirk

Ralph Sampson was the biggest scrub. Wasted talent.

Injuries, bro. He was 20/10 his first three years before his knees gave out. Gravity is a bitch on people who are 7'-4".

True, he had some injuries but he was not aggressive enough offensively and defensively. Players used to push him out of the way.
In reply to black
Ralph is a hall of fame baller, that played center like a power forward. He had it all - then his knees failed. Can't say he wasn't aggressive, he was 7 4". Digest that. 7 4" - look at any 7+ player and compare.... the man was special - if "shortened" career wise.
In reply to pelon
Imagine how much better he could have been if he was more aggressive. The guy had all the talent in the world but didn't utilize it.
Are saying you have a more aggressive 7' 4" player in mind? when you get past 7 3, your limbs don't allow aggression.
Check his play in YouTube... find me a more aggressive 7 4"
Yao Ming lasted how long?
In reply to pelon
No one else was rated a highly as he was at Virginia. He didn't live up to expectations.
