Aleppo and Nobel peace prize winner Obama

Khaga 2016-12-15 15:25:10

Is the Nobel peace prize winner fiddling while the Aleppo crisis got worse?

Is it directly attributable his regime's bungling?

The reason I love this site is exactly in this thread. There is nothing more entertaining than to hear how the minority opinion group embrace hatred and justify it. Our own Kanye West and Pediatric Neurosurgeons.Make me so excited to get online. Fox can't do better.

It was the same attitude that led to slavery and indentured labor of the Indians. By not sticking together on principle we keep opening the door for our own downfall.

enjoy my friends , enjoy for 2017 is just a few heart beats away and then the real games begin. I will enjoy seeing how the Great Again America lifts all my over baked brothers to their new status .

The Nobel peace prize winner refusal to work with Putin and Russia instead of finding ways to criticise and slander Putin and Russia while many continue to die will be remembered in history as one of Obama's crucial mistakes

So, it takes a Nobel Prize for Obama to sit on his ass and do nothing while the worst humanitarian tragedy of this decade is unfolding.
Granted his ill-advised interventions would have made him circumspect.

No wonder his legacy got rejected unequivocally.

Let Americans worry about their foreign policy. The only reason you are so sensitive about Obama is because of his perceived blackness, or is he Jamaican? big grin

You need to understand that the American System of Government is different from the British System of
Government .

You & Others need to understand that
in most cases , the President of the
USA has to get the approval of Congress to act on most matters .

Why ?? Because Congress controls the
money . Now there is absolutely no doubt that if President Obama decided
to declare war anywhere in the World , without the approval of Congress ;
HE can be Impeached .

You & others need to remember that
President Obama is a Member of the
Democratic Party . Congress for the
last 6 years of Obama's Presidency is
controlled by the Republican Party .

So there was no where in Hell or Heaven that Congress was going to support President Obama if he decided
to take military action regarding Aleppo .

When George W. Bush went into Iraq ,
he had absolutely no problem because
Congress was dominated by the Republican Party , and Bush was & is
a member of the Republican Party .

Let me emphasize the fact that during President Obama's first 2 years the
Democratic Party controlled Congress
and that facilitated President Obama
getting most of his Legislation passed .

Mention must be made to the fact that
to this very day , the Republican controlled Congress has bluntly refused to vote on some of President Obama's nominees . Now this is a fact . It aint Fiction .

Are you conceding that President Obama has been a lame duck for the past 6 years?

Khaga 2016-12-16 11:25:59

Basically, the Obama administration started arming the rebels right around the Arab Spring time. After the intervention in Libya has gone south, President Obama developed cold feet and in view of his re-election bid, he decided to sit on his ass and do nothing.

The "rebels" who could jump on the ISIS bandwagon moved on while the slow moving ones were left to be slaughtered and here we are!

FYI, Obama was elected to, not necessarily to end all wars, but to get out of dumb ones, especially where it was so reflexive for Neo-Cons not to see a conflict that they did not like and could not turn into a full-blown profiteering war for some.

Obama saw that the USA propensity for continual war engagement inhibited it's ability to address glaring social deficiencies - healthcare, education, infrastructure - and meet the need for change required by a new global economic environment.

Not to mention that the burden for these military engagements increasingly rested on the shoulders of a few, primarily those from the lower economic rung.

As for wars in the Middle East, he felt it was time these rich countries fight and/or resolve their own conflicts, even if with some American assistance.

It's why he pursued a nuclear agreement with a Iran rather engage them militarily on behalf and for Israel. It's reported he even threatened to shoot down Israeli planes if they had attempted to attack Iran.. It's no wonder Bibi hates his guts.

As for Syria, he got rid of the WMDs and he learnt his lessons from Libya, "the worst mistake of his presidency , undertaken with urgings of Hillary Clinton and the French.

Syria and the suffering of its people may haunt him, but the decision he made to stay might have been the best one militarily. Let Russia, Iran and Assad solve the mess they created.

No he was SABOTAGED by the Republican
Party . FYI you probably are Ignorant
of the fact of what the Leader of the
Senate Mitch Mc Connell stated , so let me repeated exactly what he stated :

"MY NUMBER ONE TOB IS TO ENSURE THAT

PRESIDENT OBAMA BECOMES A 1 TERM

PRESIDENT ". THIS AINT FICTION

EITHER.

YOU ARE ALSO PROBABLY IGNORANT OF THE

FACT THAT WHEN PRESIDENT OBAMA WAS

ATTENDING STATE BALLS AFTER HIS

ELECTION TO BE THE PRESIDENT OF THE

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA , NEWT

GINGRICH & TOP REPUBLICAN OFFICIALS

WERE DINING IN AN UPSCALE WASHINGTON

RESTAURANT PLOTTING TO SAY NO TO

WHATEVER PRESIDENT OBAMA PROPOSED .

POINT 2016-12-16 11:43:57

In reply to Khaga

YOU ARE ALSO NO DOUBT IGNORANT OF THE

FACT THAT PRESIDENT OBAMA INVITED THE

REPUBLICANS TO THE WHITE HOUSE ON

MANY OCCASIONS AND THEY REFUSED TO GO .
ALL that I have stated here cannot be
refuted . It demonstrates that from
Day one , the Republican Party wanted
and did all they can to make his Presidency a Failure , the fact is
that they failed .

HIS APPROVAL RATING IS CURRENTLY

ABOVE 50 % . THAT DOES NOT LOOK TO

ME LIKE A FAILURE .

Khaga 2016-12-16 11:45:45

In reply to POINT

He staked his approval rating and legacy and lost an election disastrously..

POINT 2016-12-16 13:23:36

In reply to Khaga

Once again you have displayed your total Ignorance about American Politics .

PRESIDENT OBAMA WAS ELECTED PRESIDENT

OF THE USA IN 2008 . AFTER 4 YEARS AS

THE PRESIDENT , HE WAS REELECTED FOR

ANOTHER 4 YEARS AS PRESIDENT OF THE

USA .

PRESIDENTS IN THE USA CAN ONLY SERVE

TWO TERMS IN OFFICE . SO IN ESSENCE

YOUR ASSERTION IS UNADULTERATED B.S .

SO HIS 8 YEARS IN OFFICE CAN NEVER

BE CONSIDERED , AS YOU HAVE ASSERTED

AS BEING A FAILURE .

As I have stated the fact that President Obama spent 8 years in Office and is leaving with an approval rating of well over 50% can
never ever be considered as being
disastrous .

granite 2016-12-16 15:54:56
