The wheel fell off the LI car

The LI started this F/C season well by playing competitive games, now the last two matches they seem to have lost their wheels. They seem to be a one bowler team, Joseph has looked real ordinary, not like a Test bowler.

Joseph had a good spell and is still a work in progress. Cornwall struggled and had to leave the field. The rest if the bowlers Tonge, Louis and Boatswain were ordinary. Willett knows this pitch and should be bowling wicket to wicket so I was expecting more from him. Should have kept the leggie Walsh Jr instead of Boatswain.

This pitch and ground are very favorable to batsmen you forgot this is where Herschelle Gibbs and Hayden made hay in the World cup. Leewards racked up 372/6 in a record chase. Again we are a 2nd innings team so I expect better come 2nd innings. We needed to bat better in the 1st innings so we do not put too much pressure on ourselves in the 2nd.

Don't go trivializing your boy Hamilton's ton now.

Ole leadfoot is for the Patriots and the CPL we talking real cricket here not that circus crap. On behalf of Caricom we will open our doors to the castoffs seeking greener pastures. Like Bonner we could reform him...We even rejuvenated Samuels' career but it got to his head and the crowd turned against him. Trust me St.Kitts people rough and can be fickle. smile

No one is trivializing his score because as good as a pitch is it takes one ball to get you out and batsmen can get complacent. Also your bowling unit seemed to have more control over the game as it is easy to allow the game to run away from you in these conditions. I believe the Jamaican leggie bowled well and the batsmen failed to pick the googly and the other bowlers kept the scoring rate in check.

Hamilton played a great knock in context of the team. The other batsmen like Powell, Hughes should have built on their starts.
