Duterte ,like many other persons are
missing the essential point ; which is
that President Obama's idea is to have
a cohesive alliance of Countries in
the Region , being able collectively
to blunt the power of China .

America being also on this Alliance
will be able to give China pause from mounting a Military attack . China
has already declared & annexed some small islands in the Region , and has started militarized them with Runways, & Military Bases .

President Obama belief is that with
America being in the TTP , it would have some influence on quality standard of the products from all the Countries in the TTP .

The stark fact is that in Industrial
Countries ROBOTS with in 10-15 years
are going to replace Humans . Roberts
aint going to ask for salaries , Raises ; Health Care ; Sick Leave etc
.
So in the Industrial World there is
going to be another Industrial Revolution . Obviously this is going to portend also Political Changes in
the World .

I do not see the USA through the Star
Spangled Banner . I am simply looking
at the situation of the world at
the American Perspective .

I am not any raving American Supporter . What I am illustrating is President Obama's strategy to counter Russia &
China's power in the World ; by having
Alliances with Countries in various
Parts of the World ,being active participants in its strategy .

In essence something along the lines of NATO ; which in essence is a Bulwark against the advancement of
Russia Military power in Europe . .

I have no problem with President Obama's Strategy , obviously Countries are not compelled or forced
to agree with what Obama proposes .

However with Trump at the helm of America , the TPP is likely to be
dead ; if that is the case then it is likely that China will dominate its
Neighbours .

Block China here, Russia there, support the Saudis by so, Israel forever etc. etc.

nb..The TPP is already dead! Now they are courting Britain to engage in

gunboat diplomacy against in the S.China sea...because of lack of support.

As I stated , I am just outlining
what Obama believes is essential for stability . My take is that the World
is akin to a global Chess Game , and
each of the Big Powers particularly ; China ; Russia; & America are constantly trying to check each other Regarding other Countries in the World

Essentially that is what NATO is about , this is an alliance that at its core states that attacking one
of the Countries of NATO will be akin
to attacking ALL the Countries in NATO ; from a military perspective .

Fortunately for the world Obama's belief is just that...his belief, and not gospel. Does his

stability include improving the Libya quagmire, and democratizing Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan....er Saudi Arabia maybe?

NATO basically is America' sacrificial lamb, and the sooner they realize that

the better off they will be. Russian has historical ties with Europe that eclipse anything that

the US has put on the table, think Russian repulsion of Napoleon and the Nazis after both had overrun

Europe in the past centuries. Russia lost 1million lives defending its backyard,Ukraine from Hitler.

America only came to the table after Pearl Harbour, prospered

and built wealth off the destroyed European economies - Trump like opportunism.

America only want his country so they can have military position location in the South China sea. He know how to play the game

That's how they do it,they create these 'alliances' (markets) spread pop culture and set up strategic political tools of dominance that's not always in the region's best interest.

China, India et al don't just have the numbers - they are doing the research while the 'dumbing down' of America is in full spate.
