It pains me watching batsmen reverse sweeping in Test cricket. Some of these fellas doing it before they even reach 50.

demman doing it in the 90s and so.

i think you have to give them credit for mastering it. they spend a lot of time doing so they are better now

might not look pretty but the modern game has changed

Botham was playing the reverse sweep in tests in the 80s. He broke Gavaskar's leg with one of those..
Miandad used to play in ODIs and may be Dean Jones..
Haven't watched much reverse sweep in test cricket in the 90s..

I'm looking forward to one day watching a day/night Test match. I think it's good for Test cricket.

Drapsey 2016-12-19 06:45:12

I read it here that an up and coming bowler (from India?) bowls consistently with a lively pace using either arm. I'm looking forward to the day when such a bowler is allowed to dynamically switch bowling arms without having to forewarn.

Good triple though, young man. Congratulations.

the day/nighter is good addition to the game because it is very result-oriented

slight challenge for team batting in the evening

Congrats to the Mr. Nair! That was an amazing innings, even though I didn't stay up to see it.

Rashid to Nair, FOUR, misfield at point and that's the triple-hundred! Only the third player in Test history, and the first Indian, to turn his maiden hundred into a triple. The shot, a shot he will remember for a very very long time, is a cut. It was wide, he chased it, it was a bit uppish, which was why Cook dived forward for a catch. Fell short and spilled through him. India declare as well.
