Young Tage is on the bench...made the Mudland team at 16 and can't make it at 20
He dominated the Jaguar trials
Blackwood should be doing what Shiv is doing
In reply to Narper
Yep
He is a big disappointment for me too. I had a thread on it last week. But some ppl satisfy with 30s and 40s.
In the meanwhile dem young Indians making triple hundreds in trials and our fans here get jealous when India win test matches

Hughes ranks pretty close as well!
Chesney Hughes
Kieran Powell
Vishal Singh
Where is Ramdin?
In reply to JamMack
TTCB said Ramdin opted out of the 4-day competition.
In reply to JamMack
Somebody posted a scorecard of curry goat cricket in the USA recently and I think I saw Ramdin name there....

Where is Holder?
Hiding from Mason

TBF Mohammed has batted 5 times this season and has 211 runs at 53.
Marlon Richards, Sheldon Cotterell and Jaggesar are 3 notable names from RF who hasn't done well at all.
cotterel carrying drinks
def a disappointment
In reply to Narper
I was expecting more from Andre McCarthy, after I big him up just prior to A team matches, I thought that he would put up some big scores for JA and force selectors to take a 2nd look at him!
And where are the emerging quicks ?
In reply to doosra
def a disappointment
Deo carrying drinks for lowly ranked dottie team
In reply to Andy99
While those numbers are good I dont think they are knocking hard on the door for a WI place comparatively speaking
where is hemraj?
In reply to Narper
Most of the players that played against Pakistan and the Tri series are not playing.
Kraigg was asked to rest by the WICB, in the match against the Windwards.
Probably the lack of young pace bowlers coming through.
No signs of Chemar Holder or Christopher Powell.
Marquino Mindley bringing poor returns.
Roshon Primus started well but has tailed off.
Ronsford Beaton is away playing T/20's.

Craziness.
Why would Braffit need rest....he is an opening batsman....and after this round in the 4 day competition they are not playing till next year
Others with much international experience are not selected because they don't play in regional games.
Multiple standards if you ask me

I would fast track Hetmyer, he is a breath of fresh air, and is miles ahead of any of his fellow U-19.
Let him learn on the job.

Dem should play him in the ODIs against England starting in March 2017.
I don't think he is quite ready for test..
Shiv's performances to his haters that is
In reply to Narper
His batting is fearless for someone that young.
A number of youngster get peg down, Hetmyer want to get on top of every bowler.
He and Blackwood will be good for West Indies test cricket, too many of our players cannot turn the strike over, which is so necessary, when facing bowlers.
We need a combination of aggression and defence.
Kraigg
Hetmyer
Bravo
Hope/Singh
Blackwood

What has Chandrika done not to mek your list?
In reply to WestDem
Wait wait
You expected him to make runs?
Shiv...
He should be miles ahead with this pyam pyam dung heap bowling the others struggling with. At his age if he needs a recall he must be able to say 'I scored twice the amount of runs the guy you are picking in front of me scored' ... nothing less!!!
