at least India won a Test match on their last tour to England. I think they took a 1-0 lead in that series.

4 nil hammering....
Groundsmen deserve a great deal of credit as they were able to have the ground ready even with a cyclone hitting Chennai just days before the start of the match.
Port of Spain washed out for 5 days even though it only rained for half an hour a night before the match.

Of-course you would like to "delete" this from the records...
196..319...innings & 242...innings & 8
The winning margin says a lot but bowling margin of some 30 wkts was even more impressive.
Tit for tat you would say.
I would say the above WW was much worse than this 4/0 with 1 drawn.

You're going back to a time when India were fielding a geriatric team. The only player from that side who is still around is Ishant Sharma.

Fuck OFF.
Test cricket has become a farce game.
Most countries thrive in their home conditions
and when they go overseas they stink up the place.
Never stood a chance on dem curry powdered decks. Phew!!

4 out of 5. This must be some sort of record as well. To win 4/5 tosses and still lose 4-0 is quite an accomplishment by those British blowhards.

477 is the highest 1st innings socre by England that lost a test..amazing that a team would score so much and lose..

The English wankers love to break the worst records.

Imagine how much worse England were in the 80s without a 10K run batsman or a 400 wicket bowler..
