NEW DELHI, India (AFP) — West Indies T20 captain Carlos Brathwaite won the International Cricket Council (ICC) Twenty20 performance of the year on Thursday, for his 10-ball 34 not out, including four sixes in the final over, to clinch a stunning victory over England in the World Twenty20 final.
India's Ravichandran Ashwin was named ICC cricketer of the year, topping off a sensational period in which he has dominated the Test bowling rankings.
