Tony Becca has unsurprisingly come out strongly in favour of Jimmy Adams' appointment as Technical Director:
Adams is a good man, he was a good cricketer, and one who played with some good and great cricketers. He is bright, he was a student of the game before, during, and after his playing days, he broadened his knowledge of the game as coach of Jamaica and of country club Kent, and most important of all, he possesses a passion second to none for the development of the game.
In the editorial in the Jamaica Gleaner And Now, A New Technical Director Becca also cannot resist a thinly veiled parting shot at the outgoing Phil Simmons:
Simmons was and is a good coach, and his only mistake was that he mixed up the job as coach and that of a selector, or as the selector, and a very talkative one at that.

Becca is as usual reconfirming the fact that HE too is a Card Carrying
Member of the BIG IDIOTS ORGANIZATION
Unfortunately ,there is no law against
Big Idiots . The problem with Cricket
in the Region is that it is those who
are Hiring & Firing that are the main
problem regarding Cricket in the Region .
It aint about Coaches or Players it is about the colossal Incompetence of
THE WORST INCOMPETENT CRICKET BOARD
IN THE COMMONWEALTH , aka , the WICBC
It is their Individual & Collective
Stupidity why in the longer versions
of the game , THEY are only interested in :
SELF PRESERVATION ; NEVER
TRANSPARENCY ; OR GOOD GOVERNANCE
This is why they bluntly refuse to
give up their Security Blanket , their 87 years old Structure .

I believe that the coach should be the main selector. However Phil was wrong to reveal intimate details of the selector all deliberations.
I hope that the new coach gets the power to create his team

With ALL DUE RESPECT , Adams is going to go the way of his predecessors . Because of their current Structure , the Emperors in the WICBC , are apparently Free to do anything that
they want to do ; due to the fact that
THEY ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO
NO ONE BUT THEMSELVES .
They have also got the Green Light
from the International Cricket stating that they are Free to do anything that they want to do .
One would expect that the ICC would
tell the WICBC , that it is an International Embarrassment to World Cricket . The ICC is only interested
in filling its Coffers , nothing else matters to those in the International
Cricket Cabal .
Most if not all of the Pseudo Sports
Journalists in the Region have been emasculated by the WICBC . Most of
the articles currently written by them always state " Written by a Staff Reporter " ; that is due to the
fact that they are devoid of Testicular Fortitude .

I'm backing Jimmy to break the mold. Open the door that if he does not kick right through the others after him will walk right through. He will make a obvious change.

ALL HIS PREDECESSORS WERE ALSO OF
THE OPINION THAT THEY TOO WOULD BREAK
THE MOLD ; WHERE THE HELL ARE THEY NOW
??????? .
Let me know when You have seen a Tiger
that had no Stripes . You need to factor into the equation this :
FOR 87 FREAKING YEARS THE PEOPLE IN
THE WICBC , DESPITE CHANGING
PERSONNEL HAVE STEADFASTLY REUSED TO
CHANGE THE STRUCTURE OF THE WORST
INTERNATIONAL CRICKET BOARD IN THE
COMMONWEALTH .
They are living in their own world ,
not having amicable relations with their Employees , Steeped in Arrogance ; lacking Transparency &
Good Governance .
Cricket in the Region will never ever be healed unless & until ALL those in
the governance of Cricket in the Region completely restructure Cricket ; and in their Mission Statement openly declare that they
intend to exercise Good Governance , and adhere to Transparency & Accountability .

If it aint so , I would like factual
proof . According to Caribbean 360 ; in an article entitled " TROUBLING SIGNS AHEAD - DIGICEL " An Analyst for CREDIT SIGHTS , Michael
Chakardijan estimates that DIGICEL is
estimated at more than 6 billion dollars U.S in debt .
Some of DIGICEL Users opt out for calling services provided by VIBER ;
WHATSAPP & SKYPE . I mention this
because DIGICEL is one of the Leading
Financial Sponsors of the WICBC .
If perchance this is true , there will be Rough Days ahead for the Worst International Cricket Board in the Commonwealth .

our cricket has NEVER suffered because of coach or players. Our cricket suffers because of a bunch of crookid and currupt politicians, men in top positions like Tony Becca, who upholds and supports crookid politicians, a blind board that cannot tell the difference between cricket in the 70's that was based on love for country, verses cricket in the 21st century that is now a proffession. I wonder if backward thinking men like Becca knows how to operate a computer or if he is still stock to the typewriter age of the 70's. He sure sounds like one who has not made the adjustment
