Do WI take captaincy seriously?

I can't help but recollect the recently concluded one day series with SL and Zim and consider how the captaincy would have been with a Taymar Lambert,a Ryan Hinds, a Dwayne Smith or I daresay a Chanderpaul. All of these players ability in leadership and cricketing skills would have been useful.

We are so quick to dismiss players but Holder's simple minded captaincy (which is really tested harder in ODIs and T20s) makes me yearn for experienced leadership....but then again they dumped Sammy...

stats and facts show most of them were successful captains and they all have experience and skills.

what opening is talking about are intangibles along with his own personal feelings...not a mark of analyzing.

Show us the historic facts and stats of the three.
My personal views are all cricket related.
I don't see how anyone can laud Hinds or Smith as a captain, unless he is pissed drunk.
We all witnessed Shiv as captain
