I like the aspect about helping batsmen to convert 50's into 100's, especially batsmen like Campbell needs that type of psychological motivation.

Sounds good, but I am not sure the administrators and coach have the answer to convert 50s into 100s. The good news is that if Blackwood, King and Powell make runs in aggressive fashion 80% of the problem is solved.

I totally concur with you!

Is cricket regaining popularity also in JA?

JCA realise the only way to get people watching cricket again is to have players who can draw a crowd.

They are now having daily training sessions while on break between games. Always thought this was a no brainer.

Fitter players getting in more Practice. Icing on the cake would be a Sports Psychologist.

It could only become a 'no brainer' when the 105 Regional players (those who are not on WICB retainers ) became contracted by the local boards using funds provided by WICB. If fellows have to go 'hussle' or report to work very few could afford to devote time to planned activities between games.

I have been saying for some time that our education has intentionally left us with a commercial blind spot. We understand dedication, passion, honour, loyalty even patriotism but not money.

It does not work without money.
