Why limit a bowler's overs
In reply to black
Cricket has always been a game that gives the advantage to the batsman. I think they should allow the bowlers to bowl at least one legside ball in an over as they allow the batsmen to reverse sweep.

The more correct analogy would be to limit the batsman to a number of overs/balls
wait, yall forget we have test cricket?

We are not talking about test cricket.
If a team has one very good bowler, why not bowl him as long as possible?
Like test, isn't that considered an asset?

Well for the purpose of entertainment, the Organizers of Cricket would like to highlight the best team instead of the best players on a team in ODI cricket.

I agree, each team should only play their 2 best bowlers and each bowls 25 overs a piece on the trot!
I think you're onto something groundbreaking there black! Maybe you should patent the idea, before someone else does!

That's why I said VERY good bowler. Lots of teams have GOOD bowlers but not great bowlers.
In reply to black
That would constitute abuse and a human right violation
And a keeper only allowed to make 5 or less dismissals?

And then you have the D/L method that effectively penalizes good bowling, by eliminating the most economical overs bowled in the calculation of the target for the team chasing.
And an umpire only allowed to.....
nothing
