Darren Bravo, look at your peers

This is your competition, not the WICB.
Your runs speak for you, not what DD say, your contract would be an A, if you were looking at Smith, Kohli and Cook.

His contract would have been an A if he had a lower batting average between Oct 1 2015 and Sept 30 2016 and was Baje like Kraigg Brathwaite

I dont have time to look at the WICB and it contracts like you do, Darren Bravo as far as I am concern, should be the highest contracted player.
I would not compare his stats to any other West Indian his age, what I am asking of him, his to look at his International peers.
let other young West Indians, including Kraigg,( your Favourite) follow him.
Bro, I was born in Barbados, but living for 45 years in Calgary, I would not drive Five blocks for frozen Flying fish, or just to drink rum.

No one is bigger than the game or organisation..
Contract is irrelevant...
Be a man instead of a pu$$y and retract your I'll advised tweet..
Dave was wrong but, he holds the purse strings.

it seems so, i think the cjealousy showing here amongst some posters more than the players themselves
Bravo could got as much talent as the Fadda gives him, if he nah play cricket on a big stage it means very little
And as you say no court could mek WI tek him back so he'll just be paying lawyers while not playing cricket
that to me don't make no sense

Maybe he'll come to the realization that there is a legside.

realizing it is one thing... is how he gonna get the ball there?

Unless he start cover driving to midwicket lol lol

Look, this is not about A contract or Z contract, it's about being a professional. Professional people should have professional people advising them. It is not smart to call the head of your organization an idiot in public.

I believe Darren has the talent and ability, something seem to be effecting his cricket, since he returned home from NZ.

POINT 2016-12-29 12:49:15

It really is a Crying Shame that the Lackeys of the WICBC , love being critical of the Players , but say Nary
a word about those who are yapping without properly ascertaining the facts before they decide to punish Players .

It is these People who continuously
support the people in the WICBC , in regard to the Maladministration of West Indies Cricket by the WICBC .

Dude, had you watched any of Kohli, Root, or Smith's innings, you would understand what this thread is about.
That 100 N.O by Smith last night, reminded me of what I amd most cricket fans expect from Darren Bravo.
He has the talent and ability to match his peers, his bat should be his mouth piece, that what real pros do

You doh tink dat having to frequently bat in the first 10 overs is a contributing factor. None of the people you mentioned apart from Cook who is an opener has been faced with that problem as often as Bravo

Devin 2016-12-29 16:35:32

In reply to Maispwi

India 22/2. Kohli walks to the crease, 167.

Same match, 2nd innings, India 17/2. Kohli walks to the crease, 81 out of a total of 204.

What does Bravo's extremely limited strokeplay and repeated mode of dismissal have to do with the opening batsmen?

If Bravo was consistently making 0-10, you may have a case, but he usually gets into the 20's and 30's.

That kind of stuff is out of bounds, but the West Indian way is say anything at any time
The thread is not about the WICB or what happened in Zim, it is about Darren and his peers, sometimes you have to block out the noise.
DD and his board is not going to change, thats why people like you must get involve and work with other members to bring about change.

Very Well stated ; in essence :

THOSE WHO WANT RESPECT MUST ALSO

SHOW RESPECT TO THEIR EMPLOYEES .

This fact has escaped the puny minds of some in this Forum .

MASSA DAYS DONE EXCEPT IN THE WICBC .

Its members are empowered to do anything they want ; due to the fact
that the International Cricket Cabal
has given them the Green Light to be
Unaccountable for their Actions .

This is precisely why in my opinion There needs to be Persons with some
Testicular Fortitude to bring a Case
against them in a Law Court .

You must love Flying Fish, I used to bring some back and then had to throw them out, because of freezer burn, so I stop bringing any fish.
Had I lived in a West Indian populated city, these items would be one of my staples, but not having it for so long, I would not walk or drive to find it.
BTW, my last taste of Rum was Independent 1966, but I do buy it for my son and nephew
