JEROME TAYLOR SEEKS RETURN TO INTERNATIONAL CRICKET
In reply to XDFIX
Is it accurate that he was called to WI after one match for Jamaica?
And does he want to play tests?

The record shows:
I think I can really come back again and show the people of the region and people all over the world that Jerome Taylor still has it in him to represent, he said.
It is a 'no' from me....
both HIM and ROACH need to prove themselves...no automatic selections here.

Hell no from me also
De cupboard was empty in the T20 format, thats why he want to reverse his retirement.

He has done his homework, it's called SWOT analysis!
Taylor playing politics - International league beckons, use the West Indies setup for advancement!

Taylor is an opportunist. He is seizing the opportunity of Pybus' exit to make a well advised comeback.
And this is not just a homeboy view, because apart from that ton against the Kewis, and a few good performances on the Tailor-made Sabina Park pitch, I don't have much praises to heap on Tayrol.
Awwhhh!!!
He was always only good for just one match per Test series, whether 3- or 5- match. He would then disappear or just coast, picking up the odd wicket or two here and there.
What can he bring back that he never had before? Now, that he has been tossed from other formats by other leagues, he suddenly thinks he has in himself to have a greater impact than before. I don't buy it.

He supposedly had issues with Pybus, that was the reason for his hiatus.
To be a little unkind - I would say his blood count is up! Btw wat happen to the poster who brought Taylor's blood count to the attention of the members here!
We really have had some classics here:
Ntini's village
Headley's tape

If he does well in the List A Tournament then why not?
He never retired from ODI's & T/20's, so he was always going to be in contention to play for Jamaica in this tournament.

Better than none like so many of the Bajan bowlers/allrounders aside from Roach.

Sadly we are digging our heads into the sand, as our current "pacers" are woefully below international standards and both Taylor and Roach could really bolster our attack, while assisting our younger fast bowlers in their development and maturity for international cricket. Aren't you guys tired of the embarrassment of having wait for a team to declare in order to bat for our bowling is so weak?

I think his name was Sabrina
In reply to Slipfeeler... you have to wonder.
