It seems like a genuine question so I will attempt an answer.
The useless Jamaican dollar just like your useless second hand car - no matter how badly or carefully you drive it - is worth only what informed, willing buyers are prepared to pay for it.

exports is only one component of national accounts, service trade and remittances could out weigh the decline in exports!
