Truth is this should be your basic routine - not an event.

I walk 5.2km four days a week - I treat it like my coffee - part of the day.

Happy New Year Chrissy and Yamfoot. I also have to keep up with my exercise routine.To make it a routine it as to be enjoyable.

Tks Chrissy. I am fortunate to like exercise in generally and average 4 days per week. Some days I just want to sleep but after the workout it feels so good that I am motovated to keep chugging along.

One foot in front of the other works. And say ur going to do 15 mins....and eventually you will do more.

Happy New Year bro - make it a regular part of the day.
If I can't walk because of rain, I ride the stationary bike for an hour.

Wish I had your discipline. I have the same gym membership for about 30 years now – I probably go 30 times per year – I can always find an excuse not to go….had it all plan to go today – but it’s raining – anyway I have a stationary bike in my basement and some adjustable weights – so I do – do something at home, sometimes – the lure for me to go to the gym is the steam room and sauna --- ------they have 2 Jacuzzi which I don’t use anymore because I see too many people who just walk in bone dry ---- which mean they didn’t take a shower before ------- don’t know whats bubbling with the bubbles….. big grin

Its raining.....do you have to walk to the gym??? confused lol

There are days when I dont feel like going. Those are the days I dont work out with the Trainer. How I get thru is I say "I am going to do 15 mins" Eventually I last longer. Try that. And also I set goals ie I am going to exerciae 4 days per week minimum. I have an annual calendar on my office door and if I see the week about to end and I havent got the 4 in...that gets my butt to the gym.
