I can confirm what you said. Years ago I had a JW friend who attended my father's funeral and church service with no issues at all.

and where did you get this? From a JW directive?

56-60 are all Biblical based....51-55 are all personal choices...but JW publications clearly states that most of the rest are all personal decisions one must make.

my Kingdom Hall has members who have married spouses of different faiths or no faith and are involved in sporting activities.

I wouldn't know where to look other than my friend Google.
