Bravo out of T&T squad pending WICB meeting

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, CMC – Marquee left-hander Darren Bravo has been left out of the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force 14-man squad for this month’s Regional Super50, pending the outcome of a meeting with the West Indies Cricket Board pertaining to his disciplinary issues.

Suruj Ragoonath, the T&T Cricket Board’s chief executive, said Bravo’s participation in the January 24 to February 18 showpiece hinged on the player’s meeting.

Good to hear. I wish the young man all success.

I wish there comes a day when WICB realises that they will keep losing athletes if they dont value them. For long they had control over the player since they did not have alternates but now they seem to have more options and better ones that what WICB can give.

If Bravo goes Kolpak way that is good for him and bad for WI cricket. Fact is WICB has nothing to lose so they dont care
