Khaga 2017-01-11 07:17:59

I will miss Obama's speeches.

Found it pretty inspiring and encouraging. The kind of statements that could be used in my country and several others.

I later went to Fox News to see panelists slamming the tar out of it, then I figured that partisan politics is an unstoppable beast, no matter what.

Yes but give Obama his due, he delivers a great speech. I like his use of pause, very effective.

One of the weaknesses in Obama's speeches is that are v few quotable one or two liners. altho in this particular speech there were at least two i identified

Listen, we have the best speeches. Nobody does speeches like us. People say our speeches the best. It's what people are saying. And by the way I'm a big fan of speeches. They took our speeches, and our speakers, and now we are going to take them back. We're going make speeches great again!

NEVER EVER LOOK AT FAUX NOISE , aka

FOX NEWS . BTW , NEVER EVER READ THE

NEW YORK POST WHICH IS ALSO OWNED

BY RUPERT MURDOCH .

I have absolutely no doubt that Alexander Hamilton is rolling over in his Grave ; with the knowledge that
Rupert Murdoch is the owner of his
Newspaper .

The New York Post , under prior ownership was a great source of Information . It had great Writers ,
Pete Hamill , Jack Anderson et al.

No worries POINT, I'm not looking at Fox News as gospel or anything of that sort. Consider it a "know all sides" kind of thing (some may consider it "know your enemy"). It's like how say Rachael Maddow and Sean Hannity are complete opposites when it comes to discussing politics, it's worthwhile to see how things are seen from each end of the spectrum, even if they're ridiculous.
