ST JOHN’S, Antigua – The West Indies and Pakistan Cricket Boards have agreed to play three Tests, three One-Day-Internationals and two Twenty20 matches in the Caribbean from Monday, March 27 to Monday, May 15.

The series is scheduled to start in the twin-island of Trinidad and Tobago and end in Dominica.

The Twenty20 matches are scheduled for TT; the three ODIs in Guyana, then the teams will then travel to Jamaica, Barbados and Dominica for each of the Test matches.

Manager of Operations, WICB, Roland Holder thinks this series will offer the home team an additional opportunity in the busy cricket year “to improve its ranking. Any series against Pakistan always poses an interesting contest for the West Indies.”

If the WICB had any sense, the PCL would be running alongside the Test series in late April and early May. Instead, they followed Pybus's foolish schedule, and started the PCL in November, where it got ravaged by rain, and the PCL finishes in March. So, by the time the Test specialists get ready to play the first Test on April 22, they will be rusty...great planning, WICB!

The PCL should've started in February, and run to the end of May, because no IPL "stars" were ever going to be available to play Tests....

Whatever the details, I certainly hope the attendance for the test match(es) is better than the showing for the first test between the Paks and the Kiwis.

I am ambivalent about a possible Miller call up, it would certainly weaken Yard team, similarly call up of key players from respective regional teams would have the same impact. Who are some of the key players in each team who earn a call up?

get rid of the 3 test matches and play 15 T20s instead. will make a lot more money like that
