That is huge, in the US it is catch and release we cannot take out of the water, protected. In the Keys they are common around the docks, you can feed. Plentiful in Guyana also but I have never seen such a big specimen.

Photo looks a bit tricky, like a small fish brought up close to the lens to give a false prespective

Didn't know they were protected anywhere ,they struck me as a sorta salt water carp situation with unusual almost domesticated-like abundance etc..interesting ..seems a hardy adaptable survivor that knows where there're humans there's food..
