I let the haters have their say but I will tell you there is absolutely no proof in scripture to support the ridiculous notion that a child can be married. Quite the contrary, scripture demands the bride or groom be mature enough to handle the marriage institution.

In this day and age, youngerthan 18 should not be allowed to get married and it is dirty politics for the UNC to hire a looney as a temporary independent senator to push this crap under the guise of religion. I read somewhere where over 99% of followers vehemently reject the scandalous and blasphemous notion of child bride and emphatically support a mandatory age of 18.

I would like to see more data on the child marriage stats before I comment further.
