Arrangements are being made by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service to provide an alternative host for Caribbean Communications Network (CCN) TV6s Beyond the Tape programme to ensure that it continues.
Theres no plan for the show to come off the air, CCN CEO Shida Bolai said yesterday in response to queries after news broke that the programmes current host, Insp Roger Alexander, had been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.

ALLEYNE OVERJOYED
On the competing crime talk show Crime Watch, aired on Synergy TV and hosted by Ian Alleyne, there was joy as Alleyne used music and quoted Scripture profusely as he made mas on Alexander, his former co-host when Crime Watch was aired on TV6 in 2011. Last February, Insp Alexander arrested and charged Alleyne for resisting arrest and using obscene language.

Yeah he get a bad case ..trap...would eventually blow off as usual....a soldier like Xanda with so much ghosts of criminals you telling me bout assault ...In one incident he alone assault 2 bandit to death in a grocery one Sunday while he was minding his own business off duty ,in another hen rescued a family under the gun with 2 dead criminals again to name just a few ,dis is set up ting,somebody entice dat man to press charges..since last June !!! Man get a slap and two ring ears because the mussi deserve it anyway ...how come police doh assault me or anyone I know?
