What makes best sense for Scorpian's first game?
Message Board Archives
Thomas or Walton or Both
Both. Can't see either one sitting..
In reply to JamMack
Thomas no longer wants to keep so there is no issue there. Thomas is one of if not the best Scorpion batsman so he could make that team as a bat.
In reply to voiceofreason
An alternative fact?
In reply to XDFIX
Fact. I don't deal with alternative facts and falshehoods.
In reply to voiceofreason
You guys too funny. I agree Thomas is one of the top 7. I suggest starting 11 for The Scorpians as:
Campbell
Walton
McCreary
Blackwood
Powell
King
Thomas
Sewell
Miller
Jacobs
Taylor
In reply to JamMack
Why is your most experienced and one of your better batsmen batting at 7? Come on Jammack you better than this.
In reply to voiceofreason
How about?
Campbell
Walton
Blackwood
Thomas
Powell
King
Sewell
Miller
Jacobs
Taylor
Leveredge
In reply to JamMack
Yes that is better but I would put King above Powell.
In reply to voiceofreason
Okay..Baghdad Bob-- The man cannot even make a second string WI team as player or wk/batsman yet he is one of the best, if not, the best batsman on the Yard team..
He cannot even make his home team and they are terrible.
Yuh too funny..
How can you say "Thomas is ........the best Scorpion batsman"?
Please show me a non-insular justification.
In reply to buds
Let we hear VOD response
In reply to Slipfeeler
VOTreason si like Baghdad Bob and Trump in one
In reply to buds
He led your shite batting here
In reply to voiceofreason
lol--
You comparing his stats to over-the-hill players like Baugh & Bernard and a few newbies?
Be serious..
In reply to buds
You asked me to prove whether or not he is one of if not your best batsman in this current team and I just did. Compared to Campbell soup, Blockwood, Mcfarthy and the rest who are all in the current team.
In reply to voiceofreason... VOR I can bet there has been occasions when Shiv scored more runs than Lara ... get my drift.
One thing is certain, he is one of your best!
In reply to voiceofreason
One thing about you VOR you will die with your boots on--Very admirable..
In reply to natty_forever
I find allyuh Yardies ungrateful. Here you have a young Revo propping up allyuh batting and allyuh nah want to give him credit. Not too long ago allyuh was calling for he head, now his head is the cornerstone of allyuh batting.
He is decent but not one of our best...
In reply to voiceofreason
Propping up batting? He has had a few good scores but, nothing to get excited about. Please be objective if you can. I wish you would take Thomas back and give us the lesser controversial one of the two that we gave your Dottie team.
In reply to voiceofreason
R
Voice of Delusion VOD, I cannot remember Thomas scoring a stroke-filled innings of 194 for JA, so how his he the best batsman? Anyway, whenever you start giving Bonner credit for propping up Leewards batting, we will reciprocate.
In reply to JamMackLast season he averaged 37.30 and your next best batsman was Marqunio Mindley a pace bowler with 33 ave.
In reply to Slipfeeler
Brendon King the new Yardie Hype. After one innings he is now your best batsman.
In reply to voiceofreason... I am sure our first place had nothing to do with him leading from the front.
In reply to natty_forever
The Man just buss a not out century in your win vs Leewards.
In reply to voiceofreason
You are surely delusional ! In what way, shape or form would Thomas be a better batsman than Rovman Powell or Blackwood and isn't Campbell way ahead of Thomas in average for this current regional competition?
In reply to Slipfeeler
Remind me how many FC centuries Voopman Powell has? This current regional FC competition is far from finished but what we do know is that Thomas finished ahead of him in last season's FC.
In reply to voiceofreason
Are you into the Jamaicans business because of one player?
You should follow him and start routing for the Yard.
In reply to voiceofreason
We are using your same method of player evaluation based upon your summary of last season's averages, you have to evaluate apples with apples, which means Campbell is currently beating up you boy Thomas! So by your own method there is no way Thomas could be judged as the best batsman on the Yard team. Once again like Trump you are found out to be delusional. Powell is talented young man who currently plays for West Indies. How can you compare a many times tried and failed, old, grey-back player with a young, developing player.
In reply to Slipfeeler
Apples with Bananas ( Yes you are going Bananas) as this season is incomplete. No comparison.
Boy you really gone bananas sah! Wahhhhhhhhhhhh! So based on his potential he is better?? Then he don't need to play FC/LIST A cricket he done graduate based on potential alone.
In reply to voiceofreason
Ok let's go there, remember you are the King of mediocrity for you supported a player with a 23.0 batting average and poor "bowling" average not just to play for WI but also to be captain for "life". So stop beating up on the youth, give him time to mature and develop as a player.
can taylor make the 11, ie steven taylor. i have never seen him but i hear he is good
In reply to Rastaman
Rhatid what's appening Rasta? Steven is a very talented youngster and with the right coaching he can be successful at this level.
I think he can make the cut.
VOR you keeping the dishonest Yardies honest as usual.
The revo propping up yard batting. Who woulda thought.
In reply to johnjo
Welcome back my Camrade Johnjo! Been a while.
I had to put the yardies in their place because they already looking to drop Devo from the Revo. Remember that Devo Boopie Thomas had to sit on the bench early last season before he was played and ended up topping the averages.
I watching them like hawk. Not that I am a big fan of Devon but I will defend my Camrade against the ungrateful Yardies on this board.
In reply to Wally-1
Mi visiting... in the sunshine state now. Have you seen Taylor and what are his chances?
In reply to johnjo... yeah, thanks for that 5 runs.
In reply to voiceofreason.. a notice nary a word about this season. Also, plz speak of which format he topped.
In reply to natty_forever
See Thomas fail and Yard collapse. This poor lineup putting pressure on poor Thomas.
In reply to johnjo... well he seems to be failing quite a lot then, we been collapsing like pins. Also suggest mental weakness on his part.
In reply to johnjo
Agreed. As Devon Thomas goes so does the Yardies.
In reply to voiceofreason... ... you and your one season wonders.
Well both only gave us 20 runs.
In reply to johnjo
Long time boss man. How is tings?
In reply to CricketLuva4
Not bad. Long retreat but I've managed to earn some free time again. Notice that not much has changed around here.
