Several people were killed after gunmen opened fire on a mosque in Quebec City during evening prayers on Sunday, police reported.
A witness told Reuters that up to three gunmen fired on about 40 people, mostly men, who were gathered inside the Quebec City Islamic Cultural Center. The mosques president told the wire service that five people had been killed, but those numbers have yet to be released by authorities.

Many Alt right, white supremacist globally feel empowered by Trump.
Despite the PM of Canada rebuff of Trump and the Alt Right philosophy, these terrorist still feel empowered across borders to kill.
We await patiently to see the identity of these terrorist.

Why are you so rash in jumping to such a conclusion. No one knows who the suspects are because, as far as I know, the police have not made announcement about those in custody.
There are fake news about them being white supremacists and others that they are recent Syrian refugees. In either case, it would have major repercussions, especially in the heat of what in going on south of the border.
BTW, you owe me an apology. Come on, man up and let me have it.

Court officials in Quebec identified the two suspects as Alexandre Bissonnette, 27, and Mohamed el Khadir, who was said to be in his late 20s or early 30s. Numerous news accounts said the two men might have attended Laval University in Quebec. The authorities declined to provide details about the suspects, but expressed confidence that no other suspects were at large.
See I am not sure if these guys are supremacists....but we should not rush to condemn people when we KNOW that we don't know what is happening, but hoping, based on our prejudices, that we can squarely blame one gropu.
What does this demonstrate? There are sick people the world over...

Tell why I owe you an apology, if I wrong you then I will apologize. As of now, I do know why you feel I wronged you.
The suspects are from the Alt right philosophy- white supremacist belief system.

Sad sad, but Im not surprised something like this happened in Quebec City versus anywhere else in Canada. Not surprised the loser is a Donald Trump fan either.
This is nothing more than the French hating on someone else other than the english speaking people of Quebec.
Condolences to the families of the deceased.

Simple, very simple.
You drew an inference based on false evidence and reasoning that I "seem to scuff (scoff) at the idea that the killers could be white supremacists "
You based such a conclusion on the simple fact that I asked readers to "beware of Fake News".
Now, if you're familiar with the way I post on these threads, you would've followed the link in my post to see stories of Fake News associating "white supremacists" and in another case "Syrian refugees" as suspects.
Note, such Fake News were before any confirmation by the authorities as to who the suspects were, except that people with a political agenda or basically traffickers in Fake News trying to influence a gullible public.
Now, let me have that apology.
Forthwith.
