No different from when England A or India A or whomever played in competitions previously
Kent are a second division team without their overseas or England player( Billings)....
But because regional teams are deprived of so many players for one reason or another they are second string teams too. and p,acing away from home nobody is interested,
And why are the teams no longer reprentative of the territory and all mixed up....is that to ensure no local interest?
Another duckie for Smitty eh...
Man he can't catch a break atall atall!

What other options are there as 'guest teams'? None of them would pull viewers anyway.

If Kent can lose to the U19s, I don't think they will win the title....

Tino Best made some comments about how the Kent players are playing like they still in England....
The pacers are trying to bowl seam and swing, as if they're bowling in wet, overcast conditions on a green pitch. He said they need to hit the deck hard, but they don't seem to know how to do that. Their spinners are inferior to ours, because they don't know how to use a helpful pitch, because they don't get them back in England. And the batsmen are used to the ball coming on to the bat, and so they don't know how to construct an innings on a pitch where the ball comes off low and slow.

Fantastic, and precisely the reason why Kent and England benefits from playing in our tournament- they get much needed experience and exposure to different type of cultures, conditions, opposition and pitches. So this is a fantastic deal for them, winning is only secondary.
So I beg the question, how does their participation benefit the WI- did the WICB get money to host them? If yes, how much, perhaps being paid to host them is acceptable as it bring in much needed funds.
So I again, ask the WICB, why can't our B team participate in the English County Championship?
