Seems as if the tournament is a bit more balanced between seam/fast bowling and spin bowling than previous tournaments.

A few young/new pacers putting up some good numbers too.

Really nice seeing the seam bowlers up their amongst the wickets and econ rate. I was wondering though if many of these batsmen were so accustomed of facing slow bowling now that they facing some real good fast bowling their weakness is showing?
Either way I really happy to see the fast bowlers got them batsmen reeling

I am concerned that the poor pitches they are playing on will give us a warped perspective of the stats. Coolidge is in a very poor condition from what I could see from the Trinidad leewards match. The ball kept low on a dry pitch. But worse than that was the outfield. It was bumpy and dry. When a fielder took a chance diving it looked like a pile of sand jumped up at you.

With the way 50 overs cricket is going around the world we need to play these regional tournaments on better pitches for batsmen or we will miss out on the champions trophy again.
