And the good thing about the structure of this tournament, the Leewards have another opportunity within the next 10 days to seek revenge; a guaranteed 8 games before the semis. Our players are getting to understand One Day cricket.

True. I like this format. It would definitely help our LO International cricket. I expect the Leewards to bounce back vs the Spitfires.

yes but the Windwards have been very disappointing although they have a chance to bounce back.

The Windwards are a very good one day team and with a batting lineup of Charles,Fletcher,Smith,Theophile,Ambris with support from Sammy,Mayers and Sebastien they should not be struggling although Charles continues to struggle from losing his WI spot until this tournament.

What keep happening to the Windwards is that their top order nah click. Have Smith scored past 25? And I think Charles only did so once. Only good batsman so far for the Volcanoes have been Ambris, though he didn't manage to score much for the the last game he has done well.
So they gonna have to win their remaining games in order to qualify.

As for the Leewards, we already played we one bad game, hopefully we no lose no more.
Two good matches I've seen, maybe they've been more, was this one and the pride vs Guyana match.
teams really coming out to play
Good win too by the U19, and the ICC also showing they not just here to make up numbers.
Guyana I think has been most shocking to me, cause they basically dominating the 4 day in terms of consistency, but different format so different results. I guess.

The Windwards struggle because Charles
fails to take responsibility and bat properly.
He just wants to swipe at everything, no
matter the state of the game or the team's
requirement.

Devin Smith is reacting slowly and in the
twilight of his career.
