"A lot of grass over there, it's a nice covering, an even covering all through," says Sunil Gavaskar for the broadcaster's pitch report. "The fast bowler's will like it for the first two hours."

Mehedi Hasan to Kohli, FOUR, 16th Test ton for King Kohli (ignore the cliched term). He deserves it. The crowd and his teammates are on their feet. Not much celebration from him. Shot to reach their was top class, so like his innings so far. Tossed up on the stumps and Kohli let his wrists take over and flicked through mid-wicket. Found the gap to percection

T Islam to Rahane, out Caught by Mehedi Hasan!! Bangladesh have finally got past this pair and India have lost that customary wicket in a session. Lovely hands from Mehedi, made a difficult catch look easy. Beautifully bowled by Taijul, he drifted this one wider of off and got it to dip into the right-hander, Rahane was committed on the drive, had to lunge forward as he looked to get to the pitch of it. The dip beats him on the drive, he ends up spooning it off the splice of the bat, in the air and to the left of cover-point.

Another session where India lost just one wicket. They have now lost exactly one wicket in each of the four sessions so far in the Test

runout 2017-02-10 12:32:11

Now it made sense for these two teams to not have played any test cricket for the longest while.

this game was set up for kohli to break the 400 record

Bro....anyone who is looking to Kholi to break that record don't seem to understand his approach to the game...also, that is a formidable ask.

I don't see him doing it.

The most he was going to score was 300. Under Kohli's leadership, India are looking to place little weight on personal milestones, while putting a premium on winning.

Kohli clearly didn't want to bat anymore. Had he reviewed, the lbw decision would've been overturned.

Considering that those countries are literally next to each other, it's baffling that Bangladesh never ever toured India. Was there politics behind it?

Bangladesh 388 & 250/10 (100.3 ov)

India won by 208 runs

That's the sixth successive series win for India, since the one in Sri Lanka 2015. Virat Kohli tucks a stump under his arm and leads his men off, he has led India to 19 matches without a defeat, going past Sunil Gavaskar's record. The only losses under his captaincy have been Adelaide 2014-15 and Galle 2015.
