KMT!

Another two years of this imbecile DD? And after that, who knows how long.

Looks like we'll have to resort to reverse psychology and praise his every move rather than criticize them, and he might just voluntarily walk away into the sunset.

This is not surprising , the REGIONAL
CRICKET BOARDS are not only Corrupt ,
they do not adhere to Democratic Principles or Good Governance .

Just like the Worst International Cricket Board in the Commonwealth , aka the WICBC / or Cricket Worst Idiots , aka CWI . Their Members cling faithfully to their 1929 Structure .

Because it allows them to dabble unchecked into Machiavellian tactics ; that allows them to commission several Reports and just as swiftly dismiss the findings of these Reports

THEY can do this because their Mission Statement is devoid of :

TRANSPARENCY , ACCOUNTABILITY & GOOD

GOVERNANCE .IN THIS REGARD THEY ARE

ABLY SUPPORTED BY THE SPORTS MEDIA IN

THE REGION ; AND THE INTERNATIONAL

CRICKET CROOKS .

An Entity that allowed 3 of its Members to temporarily hijack most of
the ICC's Profits .The Sports Media
in the Region uttered not a word about this Hijacking .

From its inception , I have stated in this Forum that the Hijacking was a Travesty . I cited the fact that 3 elderly English women were outraged by the hijacking , and stated that the money would have been better spent introducing the game to other
Commonwealth Countries .

It is the Timidity of the Governments of the Region , to take the WICBC to Court and let them explain their governance of Cricket in the Region .

In India the Lodha Committee came down very hard on the BCCI , an Entity that
thought of itself as being Emperors .
It was indeed , a pleasure reading how the India Supreme Court verbally slapped around the Officials of the BCCI .

I noted with interest that the India Supreme Court removed both the President & the Secretary of the BCCI

FROM THEIR POSTS NEVER MIND THE FACT

THAT THE BCCI IS A PRIVATE ENTITY .

For years in this Forum I have stated , and still am of the opinion that the WICBC must be taken to Court . The very fact that the WICBC commissioned several Reports and then
deliberately ignored the salient findings of those Reports .

Frankly the WICBC has foisted a Charade on the People of the Region . One can obviously conclude that the WICBC had, & has absolutely no intention of
adhering to the Principles of Good Governance .

I hope the WICB did their due diligence on their two nominees CAMERON AND NANTHAN, before they embarrass us all with the passport scandal that seems to be dominating news these days. If they haven't done their work they better carry their independent investigation just to make sure our cricket is not brought to disrepute with on and off the field controversy. They better be sure that none of the two individuals assisted or got anything from a diplomat that was arrested in the Dominican Republic and extradited to Iran for very serious allegation of corruption, late last month. I say so because we love our cricket and remember how football was thrown into controversy last year because of corruption.
