Barbados match vs CCC today

analyst-kid 2017-02-11 08:29:40

Carter, Chase, Dowrich and Holder have all failed collectively in two consecutive matches.

I would rest Brathwaite, open with Hope and Stoute.

Benn comes back in for Warrican and Roach to accompany Cummins to open the attack...the two of those guys in form could be vital for Barbados. Cummins had a poor opening spell vs the Scorpions but him and Holder bowled excellently at the death.

I would shorten the batting and lengthen the bowling....IMO it was Holder's captaincy regarding the bowling that allowed the Scorpions to reach 100 runs in 16 overs...Holder MUST tighten up as captain in those first 15 overs!

Taking away the Kraigg factor is an effort to make the batters more responsible!

Steady start by Barbados .... 44 without loss

I'll say again ... I like the look of young Harding.

All these promising young quicks should be assigned a mentor who can help them train and develop faster.

It would be nice... I think they are trying to hold regular fast bowling clinics with some decent coaches around the region... I hope this continues... there appears to be some pretty promising young pacers around.. every effort must be made to develop them.

Carter...when batting well is a very enjoyable watch smile

For me he's a tragic waste of talent.... he should have scored double the amount runs that he has.... I fear that he will never fully realise his talent... great shame... great to watch

Harding...20 years old with good line and length established at pace...he could only get better...he has had a good tournament.

They really on fire.... I know that the bowling is not of the highest standard but they have played some superb strokes.

Hope gone now.

Come in Kid, you need to relax and let the game come to you.
Going into Antigua, Kraigg will have to improve his SR, he faced 44 dot balls today, thats the only problem I see going forward

but I find whenever Kraigg is there Pride is scoring at 4 to 4.5 an over and that is good for the first 30 overs at this level with lots of wickets in hand.
