Good knock dat Louis. Good fight by the lower order but again our middle order failed to show up. Our Achilles heel all tournament and it did not help that there was a poor decision to select Marlon Samuels for 2 games and hence were unable to get a replacement.

Anyways good effort. We have had our best showing in years. Congrats to Barbados who as I said earlier is a team with 11 current West Indian players. They deserve to win but we need to work on our game. Need to have a proper LICA tournament so we can find some more talent like my boy Louis, Zhari, Cornwall to join Hodge, Hammie and Powell.

We need to see if we could hold on to Hosein for the 2nd round of the 4day tourney. Campbell too.

We did well to come this far and you have rewarded to some extent diehard fans like myself. Now we expect more.

Well said VOR. In the end we liked like we just ran out of steam and out of ideas. But we have shown steady improvement and have shown that we can still produce talented players. We just need to continue the positive trend.

What we need is an organized LICA tournament before the draft so we can have a pool of new players to chose from. We keep recycling some mediocre players. We have a decent nucleus: Powell, Joseph, Hamilton, Hodge,Cornwall to build around.

Now we need to change our focus to the 4day tournament where we still have a chance to win.

Playing in the Semis while the Muddies watch it from the comfort of their living room is a great feeling. Hope they stocked up on Banks beer.

Well at least we could hope for an upset- the anticipation made the cricket interesting otherwise it would have been just another one sided match.
Powell might have felt the pressure but that was good extra bounce from Holder to get him.
Whats up with Alzharri - who coaching this guy? Seems like he becoming another Daren Powell or something.
Jamaica did upset Red Force though and in a big way, all eyes glued to the screen for the finals Saturday.

VOR, why didn't Tyrone Williams get a run, man looked really impressive in the u19s. The way he got his runs was with authority and not rashness. Coulda been used at #3? Guys like Keon Pemberton should start to be in the mix as well, love his action.
