As I always say whenever JA comes out to bat, they will win. B'dos had the better firepower today with a great century from Hope. Certainly like the fight by young Powell for JA, my only concern is that he was sent to the crease much too late but strong all-round efforts from Powell and certainly one to watch for the future of WI cricket. Hope showing maturity and we all would like to see him make the consistent transformation from regional to international cricketer with his enormous talent.

Congrats B'dos, great tournament JA
The tournament was for B'dos to win from the onset but we were hoping for a J'can upset, which was not to be as JA batting faltered, however great win Pride!

Once Barbados won the toss, it allowed them to implement that conservative approach which has worked very well for them. If they batted second, they would have been out of their comfort zone.

Teams batting first seems often to win matches, apparently we have problems chasing runs although if Powell was sent in earlier he probable could formed a partnership with another batsman but that's Monday night Quarter Backing!

The players were complaining of batting last because of the lighting problems at this ground.
The final should have been played at Kensington Oval or at the Antigua recreation ground.
If Dave keeps playing these important games against top regional teams at these inferior fields, we deserve what we get when we play against top teams on international grounds.

Why did Bim wait until the last 12 overs to attack, they could have applied pressure against the bowlers earlier as they had wickets in hand?
