How many different ways can we say STUPID!!!!!
What the heck was she thinking????
In reply to bravos
Sad that she got caught? Or sad that she did it?
How many lives will this thing ruin?
In reply to deanjones
God-awful. She's finished.
For what purpose?
Let's hope there is no one connected to the local government who used her in this way.
Was she used or was she more than an active participant in the scheme to transport drugs? Time will tell.
Is this proof that winning beauty pageants doesn't pay the bills? It would be interesting to know how many such winners go on to have lucrative careers as models, TV personalities, etc.
In reply to Priapus
Beauty pageants in small countries are not lucrative. And this is not about paying the bills if she is the reigning beauty queen then she is financially taken care of. Maybe she was trying a thing.
Time to free up the weed so people don't suffer the white lady remorse!
Let's hope that this arrest deters others from chancing their careers
fake news
Seems like Guyanese beauty queens have a thing for the white stuff. Anyone remembers Mia Rahaman?

Greedy fool

You mean this?
1. Miss Jamaica
2. Miss Guyana
3. Miss tittie
4. Miss Bim
Two down two to go!!
Seriously, Miss Guyana could have been setup by some unscrupulous person/s.

I am not sure myself. No prominent English language news organization is carrying this, although it's on some Spanish website.
There was another one from the same link posted that claimed Donald Ramoutar was dead...false as well

An article published on our page this morning which claimed that Miss Guyana got arrested at London Airport was posted and removed within 10 minutes of publication after our editor realized it was a HOAX!
We at Pageanthology 101 offer our greatest apologies for publishing the article. This will serve as a lesson for us to scrutinize an article before posting it in our page, and share quality and reliable news in the future. Thank you!
Great news!! I mean non-news!

Seems most likely to be fake.
Let's examine the news report...
Customs and Border Protection Police - no such organisation exists in the UK
Port Authority Police - same as above
London District Attorney - that would be the Crown Prosecution Service
Robert E. Perez, Director of UK Border Agency London Field Operations - this person's name and title are so American that this report is certain to be the figment of someone's vivid imagination.
In reply to TheTrail As I understand it, the Jamaican lady was a runner up, not the titlist.
It might be too early to come to a conclusion, it could be that someone put it in her bags without her knowledge.
The above was posted before...WTF are you guys continuing the speculation?
Many questions arose after the report of Metro-Uk.com website circulated through the pageant community. The Guyanese beauty queen is now in her country that supported the allegations that she got arrested in UK is just false allegations.

FAKE NEWS!
CALM DOWN PEEPS! LISTEN TO SOME CALYPSO ROSE!
With the explosion of fake news it is instructive how careless many posters are in willingly accepting absolutely anything which is injurious or negative about any person who is successful. It is obvious to me that this is part of the widespread SICKNESS of many human beings. They love to see successful people suffer and be shamed.Somehow it gives them satisfaction to gloat about someone falling from grace. SHAME ON ALLYUH!!!!!

Based on the above, sounds like all that's missing is a link to send your bank details to become a regular subscriber to the newsletter
