There was one about the ICC putting
notice on a few of its Members , in essence stating that their Full Membership , is at risk of being revoked .
Obviously since in the longer versions of the game our Team & Players are wallowing at or near the Bottom in the
International Cricket Arena .

My take is that this is a not so subtle
warning to the Emperors in the WICBC . I believe that in essence the WICBC is being hit with a Hammer enclosed in velvet .

Generally in the Halls of power in powerful Entities , things are done with a lot of finesse . My impression
is that the Emperors in the WICBC are
being warned . That their Stewardship
of Cricket in the Region is subpar , and if Our Players & Team are not competitive in the International Cricket Arena , then Full Membership
will be denied to the WICBC .

Now for quite sometime in this very
Forum I have consistently stated that
the ICC is derelict in its responsibility to ensure that ALL its
Members adhere to all the Principles
entailed in Good Governance .

Now I have absolutely no idea why the
WICBC has been put on Notice , and far be it for me to suggest , or entertain the idea that my criticisms
of the ICC regarding the WICBC's
Stewardship is the cause of this latest pronouncement of the ICC .

The matter regarding the collusion of
England ; Australia & India to hijack
most of the ICC Profits in this very Forum I also stated that hijacking was outrageous . That was rescinded .
Let me again stated that , I have no
proof that the people in the ICC read this Forum , however in this Forum I
strongly objected to the Hijacking by
the 3 named Countries .

Now for some years in this Forum I have stated that the WICBC by commissioning several Reports and then rejecting the salient features of these Reports , was in fact perpetrating a Hoax on the People in the Region .

I have also stated that the WICBC has
refused to change its Structure , which this year will be 88 years old .

The problem with Cricket in the
Region as I have stated very recently
is that having Structural changes without having Structural changes in the Regional Boards is akin to putting a Ban Aid on Cancer that has broken the skin .

That being the case both the WICBC &
the Regional Boards must together undergo serious Structural changes .

These changes must not be cosmetic .
They must include Transparency ; Accountability & Good Governance .

The Mission statement must also state
that there must be harmonious relations between Management & Players .

The asinine idea of having public disputes prior to Our Players representing the Region in the International Cricket Arena , must cease .

This B.S apart from being unseemly ,
does not help the moral of our Players . Despite the fact that the
Big Idiots mistakenly believe that it is a great motivational Tool .

I didn't see the original forum post but read elsewhere that ICC is making bigger demands of all its members. Don't know if it affects the bottom more than the top, or who's driving it.

I am not about to take credit , but for quite some time in this Forum I have been stating the Fact that the onus was & is on :

THE ICC TO INSURE THAT ITS MEMBERS

ADHERE TO THE PRINCIPLES OF GOOD

GOVERNANCE . THAT OBVIOUSLY MUST

INCLUDE TRANSPARENCY & ACCOUNTABILITY

But as I have stated recently apart
from serious Structural Reforms in the WICBC , WE must also simultaneously have serious Structural changes in the Regional
Cricket Boards .

As I stated elsewhere the ICC is putting the WICBC & others on notice , that it needs its governance aint
up to par .

I stated in one of the missing Post , that the ICC hit the WICBC with a Hammer enclosed in velvet .

So the ball is now in the WICBC &
the Regional Boards Court to shape up
Time will tell whether they will perceive & heed the warning .

In the meantime I intend to hammer both the ICC ; the WICBC & the Regional Boards until there are serious Structural changes in the WICBC & the Regional Boards .

I still want Caricom to take the WICBC to Court . Commissioning Reports & then ignoring the salient features of these Reports , aptly demonstrates that the WICBC has & is
perpetrating a Hoax on the People in the Region , despite the fact that it is using Public Facilities to host
International matches .

I agree with most of what you posted.
The ICC looks like they have drawn lines in the sand.

One of the problems WE face in the
Region is the stark fact that most of those in the Sports Media have been and are derelict in their responsibility to be critical of both the WICBC & their Regional Boards .

The WICBC has made them Eunuchs , and as a result they are loathe to be critical of the many excesses of the
WICBC .
