Sometimes these kinds of out brings you back to the ground...when maybe you are getting too arrogant and complacent at the crease.

I was thinking something similar. This game got nuff time left so India will have the time to get a large total. They won't bat that poorly again so Australia are not in command of this game.
In reply to shivnotout
Wasn't expensive at all
In reply to Baje
Don't agree it's a nothing ball. Kohl probably expected the ball to swing back in to him. The seam was pointed to leg slip. But it went the other way.

You still sleeping or what?
In reply to Narper
well it wasnt explosive at all
he cost de team
In reply to spider
It was such a wide ball it waz highly unlikely to swi g back in...certai ly not enough to be a problem
In reply to Baje
Yes. But he thought it was four runs and he has had very good judgment over a long period going after shots like that.

Smith got out to almost the very same ball in an ODI against Pakistan recently from mohammad Amir. It is mentioned in following article

yall bawl no drive
juss leave alone
Kohli still doesn't show great bowlers enough respect. He thinks he can dominate everyone from ball one, especially fast bowlers.
He will learn, he will have to. A batsman of his calibre shouldn't be falling to a "sucker ball," and that's exactly what it was. In recent times he's done a good job of not chasing the wide one, but he fell for the trap this time.
