Congrats,T&T holds Ghana in high regard and have a history of exchanges and agreements, there exists a healthy little Ghanian population here, from the late Doctor Gadezkpo to students at UTT to many other practicing doctors, petro industry apprentices and artists..

Ghana is indeed a very bright light in Africa.

Congratulations.

Ghana holds a very special place in Trinidad- about 80% of Afro Trinidadians trace their ancestry from Ghana. Thanks to Ghana we have the following foods:

1. Brown Sugar Stew Meats and Fish
2. Hot Peppers- came from Ghana and when the Indians came, they adopted Hot Peppers in their cooking to replace the missing spices that added "heat" to their traditional cooking.

3. Soup and Broth- the fame Trinidad dish came directly from Ghana

And there is a lot more.
