ANDRE RUSSELL IN A SPOT OF BOTHER AGAIN!
In reply to XDFIX
Some Jamaicans I tell you. Just want to make a name for themselves and get a pat on the back in the process. Just love to tear each other down and thus look at where the country is at now. Tief nuh love fi tief wid long bag.
It's a way to give JADCO teeth. So that athletes wouldn't flaunt the rules, just because it's JADCO. You all KNOW that's why Russell was ignoring them.
Way to go JADCO! Let these athletes know that you are a force to be reckoned with, and away with that flag card!!!
The reason why the entire Caribbean is in a mess is because people think that they don't have to follow rules!!!

We have mind readers on here.
The reason the Caribbean is in a mess is because some people like to throw their weight around to feel like their the big man.
Why should Russell receive a longer ban than a guy who used anabolic steroids (Tyson Gay). A 1 year ban is enough. An don't come with that apples and oranges BS.
Vindictive pieces of shyte.
In reply to JahJah
Does Tyson Gay fall under the sphere of control of JADCO?
In reply to Larr Pullo
Do you think a person using steroids should get a lesser penalty against an issue of negligence?
In reply to Pacy
The guy asks that question after I said not come with that apples and oranges BS.

England's Commonwealth 400m champion Christine Ohuruogu has been given a one-year ban for missing three out-of-competition drug tests.
1 year is enough punishment.
I wonder if the desired 2 years is because of this.
In reply to JahJah
is Jadco Jamaicans living in Jamaica? They looking for a bribe or something or what? Them trying to hurt people man. This can't make sense.
Leave JADCO alone and let them exercise their given power.
What would be the use of their having all that power if they're not going to use it, even abuse it as is their prerogative?
In reply to JahJah
Apples and apples or oranges and oranges really. Two years maximum is the prescribed punishment.
In reply to Larr Pullo
I agree with you, that's like when Vybez Kartel on murder charge, people ah say free the world boss just cause he ah star. I don't know whether he guilty or not, but saying free a man just cause he ah star is why the world will always be full of crime, violence and corruption.
Aint know different than whites in america committing crimes and getting less or no punishment compare to blacks doing the something.
In reply to Larr Pullo
yes. I think Jamaica lost a gold medal recently because of doping so you cant blame them
In reply to jen
What this have to with Vybes Cartel? It was deemed by a qualified person that a year ban is sufficient.

Doube cosign, see it everyday, another reason why living in this part of the world is becoming unbearable
Worrying days ahead!
In reply to methodic
the comparison is when people ah star we want them to get away.
In reply to jen
ok, but Russell has already gotten the penalty deemed fair by a qualified committee. What is the motivation for penalizing him further.
I agree that the full two years is necessary to set a strong precedence. They are trying to deter others who may think of going this route in the future .... Russell just happens to be in the way so they have to use him
In reply to methodic... self importance?
In reply to natty_forever
or just plain ignorance and wickedness
The man didn't get away with anything.
He was punished.
This smacks of vindictiveness. Maybe they see that despite their ban he still was able to get contract even if he wasn't going to play.
They feel slighted and want to show that they wear heavy boots.
This action is as big of the problem as it is when you bow to favoritism like how people calling for convicted people to be released.
In reply to JahJah
Two years maximum is the prescribed punishment.
As opposed to doing something without the penalty framework.
In reply to JoeGrine
The End.

Royal Punto Finale.
He was punished.
Indeed. It is as simple as that.
Say it again sah, because so many are so blind. They are acting like he somehow got away. He was already sanctioned has been stopped from playing the sport he loves. His profession.
In reply to JahJah
It is not about "he somehow got away", it is about the NADO being of the view that the infringement warrants a 2year suspension and you are of the opinion that is does not. I am of course assuming you have seen the details within reasoned decision to question the NADO.
The "sport he loves" has regulations which he infringed upon, there are penalties associated with said infringement and it is the opinion of the NADO that he should receive 2 years.
