In reply to anthonyp
Alarming that Carlos maintained his place. Perhaps word on the street is that medium to sweet is the order of the day. That is truly a head scratcher.
Joseph to Roy, FOUR, short and hoisted over the leg side once again. I think pitching it up is going to be the key on this surface
In reply to anthonyp
At least we can safely say Rovman was not a part of this losing team!
Joseph to Roy, OUT, spanked straight to mid-off!
JJ Roy c Holder b Joseph 17
eng 27-1
In reply to NYCGURU
Great wicket by Joseph, luckily we called them out for they were bent on using Cummjns to replace Gabriel.
In reply to Slipfeeler... should have had another.
Joseph to Root, no run, flicked in the air and

0 Holder to Root, no run, dropped! Another spill, this time from Nurse in the gully. Perfect line and length, demanded the edge, and though he made good ground to his right, he couldn't cling on!
In reply to Slipfeeler

Dropsy cricket ?

Pommies score 275 for 1 they win
In reply to Runs
D Bishoo 5-0-44-0
Fielding and field placings are off
Why Bishoo in this side
Most inconsistent
Cyah settle on a good line and length
Better field placement and only 1 from that Nurse over.
In reply to 90mph
after 4 overs at 6.5 why wasn't he taken off with so many other options?
In reply to Cornfused
A man bowling $&&#% and u talking about field placing?
He can't set the field now... He's who bowling.
In reply to camos
True there are nine other options besides him, the truth however is that there are not many if any good options.
In reply to 90mph
why is Bishoo in the side and better spin bowling allrounders like Cornwall,Campbell and Chase all on the outside watching?
The spinners however getting pummelled here and a bowler like Brathwaite keeping them quiet...Holder should introduce Carter and sneak in some overs with him.
This clearly shows how much Rovman would have meant here.
In reply to shivnotout
Left shoulder or wrist. Lewis not batting at the top of the order today.
Gone to Queen Elizabeth hospital for x-rays.
In reply to mikesiva
That is a shame. One of the few players in the team capable of exploding and take the fight to the bowlers. Oh well.
Holder might as well remove all the spinners and bowl Carter and the rest until a wicket falls.....Bishoo/Nurse have already bowled 10 overs anyway.
Nurse bowling runs now
In reply to mikesiva
Lewis get your full rest not point coming back to a losing team, you are a great player but the pressure to keep up scoring with non-scorers was too much for you. Get well soon!
England 185/1 (32.2 ov)
In reply to analyst-kid... was the plan for the seamers/pacemen to keep it tidy while the spinners try to buy a wicket?
I am not surprised that lbw was overturned. Kraigg was bowling wide right arm around the wicket to a right hand batsman.
In reply to natty_forever
it seems so...cuz there is no reintroduction of Joseph to try to prise out a wicket!
In reply to analyst-kid
will we get another wicket today?
eng 205-1 35 ova
In reply to analyst-kid... they going bring him back now that the batters well set and get licks.
Who is the captain. Does he have a clue?
He has no choice but to bowl Kraigg Brathwaite and hope he can continue to keep it quiet while rotating himself Carlos and Joseph.
While doing that, He needs to introduce himself for one or two overs in an effort to keep it quiet...only himself and Carlos Brathwaite has been able to keep the English quiet.
Holder is impressing me here. In persisting with Joseph he shows true captaincy ability. I never though he had it in him.
In reply to natty_forever
Joseph gets hales for 110.
having taken a wicket Holder should introduce himself or Carlos now next over.
In reply to analyst-kid
holder will bowl to tailenders.as usual to get cheap wickets
CWI used seven bowlers
Joseph cannot hunt alone, nor can angel ?
Finally! Holder getsa wicket!
In reply to shivnotout
as this stage...it is not tailenders..it is power hitters.
England 232/3 (37.4 ov)
In reply to shivnotout
it made sense for Holder to come here at the fall of a wicket....he is the most economical bowler.
however with 12 overs to go...Holder needs to find 3 overs from someone else besides himself Joseph and Carlos Brathwaite....maybe 2 from Carter and 1 from Nurse.
Carlos is the next most economical bowler...it makes sense bringing him here too....one more over from Holder then bring back Carter.
Damn! Rovman Powell would have been so good here! How could they keep leaving him out like that?
Holder has now bowled 2 consecutive overs conceding 5 runs! But there is STILL 10 to go and he only has 2 left...HE MUST bowl one of his spinners or part time bowler in Carter!
Nurse bowled Morgan for 11!
He goes to Nurse and he gets the wicket first ball!
Cricmofo:
2 runs, short ball, Root swivels and swats it through square, again there's two - and there follows the bat raise, plenty of Brits on tour in Barbados to applaud Root's ninth ODI hundred. A whirring dynamo of a knock
eng 263-5
In reply to shivnotout... OUT!
So glad that Joseph is having some success.
eng 271-6 44 ova

West Indies require another 321 runs with 8 wickets and 48.1 overs remaining
As per usual the wicket changed during the break , when would we learn , this is a replay that has been going on for the last 15 years , with spots of success. Lad Father lend a hand .

Its vexing watching dem lobster colored pommies
with two left foot dance GRRRRRRRR
In reply to mikesiva
I've been following them since 2000.
This is the worst ever I think.
They are only borderline competitive on shit tracks.
They don't have the batting or bowling skill to compete on good tracks.
There is no really good player in the team. Not one really.
Just depressing. Has ruined my night. As usual.
Wondies gafa ga back to da drawing board.
In reply to GMA
I have stopped getting upset. I just turn my attention to the CPL. That's far more enjoyable than this crap.
Carlos out to stokes for seven this time around.
In reply to mikesiva
I know man but for me the cpl and all those
Tournaments are so meaningless
Wagon get abandon? Its now a runaway train!
This is indeed a shameful beating!
In reply to sgtdjones
The dancing is appalling!
It's annoying that these pommies have taken over a Caribbean stage.
Nurse out for six.
In reply to WestDem
You cannot have players who are mentally ill prepared and do not have the talent to be International players masquerading as bona fide cricketers and expect a better result.
As MJ would say ( them da cricketers)...
In reply to buds
Carter out for 46. You know we'rescraping the bottom of the barrel when Carter and Muhammed are your best batsmen.

At Kensington Oval.
Good freaking lord. What next, raise the Union Jack above the ground?
In reply to mikesiva
Yep--I could look at this team that got selected and tell you that we were in for a 3-0 WWash.
