This team don't want no part of either new zealand, bangladesh or even zimbabwe. we don't need no further humiliation.

Three defeats, each worse than the last.
Not even a spark to suggest they learn from previous mistakes.
This series is very discouraging.
They play KB and still can't bat out 50 overs.

But seriously. It's not unexpected. Or if anyone truly expected much better, they're unrealistic IMO
It;s a very inexperienced team, led by an inexperienced captain. Not only inexperienced....but also young.
We're told that the main reason this group of players were selected is largely because of character and commitment.
Those two attributes will be called upon in copious amounts as they deal with these kinds of performances. Yet...the core of this team also had setbacks against Pakistan last year and came out of it with an extremely rare away test victory.
Let's see how it goes. I agree it's not pretty....but we've been told that if any set of players in the region can weather these disappointments, it's this group of players

I will be surprised if more than two or three of theses players actually become good. They have no backbone.

Too early to tell. Allyuh impatient

At best we could say, Gabriel, Mohammed and Carter may have grown somewhat. The other eight players did not figure.
Do we continue with all of them?
I would not expect to discard 8 players but at least there should be some shake up.
Try three or four new players.

Inexperienced captain? He has played 52 one dayers, how much he needs for experienced? 100
In reply to Runs
He's played 52 ODIs
He's captained 31
In reply to imusic
That is a lot of experience sir
He has s terrible team I agree, but lacking experience should not be an excuse for him.

I was thinking over your highlighted statements. It's true if you look at just the current facts and this team.
But then I realised that since I joined this forum some years ago (to give give my perspective) the West Indies team as a whole across formas has inexorably and relentlessly moved in one direction - Down.
I thinks it's time to be impatient - be impatient with the same ideas, the same solutions and instead look at process related, deep rooted solutions.

boy you right you know
das was a good plan, then like Bangla, move up the order when you shock a BIG team every now and again.
In reply to Verstehen
I am so disappointed you're not a West Indian. You are depriving me of my endorphins.
In reply to Courtesy
Oh well, technically everyone in the Caribbean region is also a farriner with respect to the WICB team...
... could it be due to that One English man played almost as much ODIs as my team???
