From I see the first 11 for the first match I looked away.
In what world would one start Kraig Brathwaite in an ODI ahead of Walton?
Powell better than Carlos Brathwaite and Holder combined.
From the days of Darren Scammy I have maintained, pick your best 11 then pick the captain .
Holder must GO!!!! Now!!

You have the nerve to now come to the party.
Your captain don't think much of them two, plus they both were groomed in the BCA, so are considered Bajans.
In reply to openning... notice the man na knock bajans, rather selection ... you feel guilty?
In reply to Samwells
The one where Walton averages 26 in One Day cricket.
In reply to natty_forever
Allyuh send a lot of weak arsh selectors to the panel, so ya get the team the bimster want on the field.
BTW, any true bajan cricket fan, will say Carlos should be dropped and would like to see Kraigg SR to either improve or be out of ODI.
But this team was selected from the last two ODI tournaments.
In reply to openning
Was it really?
If so, why is Carlos in the squad, much less the XI.
If so, why isn't Rov Powell in the XI.
If so, why aren't Taylor and Rampaul in the team?
If so, Why isnt Chanderpaul in the team?
If so wtf is Cummings in the squad?
If so, where is Cornwall, Reifer and Meyers?
If so, Kraigg strike rate DQs him from being good enough for ODIs.
Methinks selection is based on something else other than the last two tournaments
In reply to Andy99
On current form who doing better?🙄

U think i attacking them cause they Bajans? Kmt
In reply to DIEHARD
Browne already told allyuh deaf people, he is going to give players a run, and going to invest in a few.
In reply to Samwells
Check d Super50, check this line up look at the results.
In reply to Andy99
To be honest, both Walton and Powell probably glad they did not get to play against England, these threads might have been about them making way fuh KB and CB against Pakistan!
In reply to WestDem
As they say the best player is the one who is not in the XI.
Fact is.....
Powell, Hope, Mohammed and Paint were 4 of the top 5 batsmen in the Super50.
Lewis was also one of the better batsman.
Holder probably the best pacer, Nurse the best spinner.
Gabriel and Alzzari 2 of the best pacers, probably the 2 best after Rampaul and maybe Taylor.
Carter was decent and Bishoo was ok.
So bar one or two players, these were mostly straightforward selection of inform players.
Carlos Shithound Brathwaithe being the anomaly. Dow and/or Cummins didn't play.
It is a shitty team, forced to included a big shithound(we need a new word to describe him) and being led by a dumbass captain.
Oh by team I doh mean the XI, I mean the entire WI talent pool.
In reply to Andy99
The tournament standards were mediocre also
In reply to openning
Dude...YOU said... The team picked based on the last two tournaments.
Now u saying Browne say is based on who him feel like investing in...
It can't be both.
I only made that post to point out who should or shouldn't feature..Based on the last two tournaments
Do u mean WI last two series? And if so..If it's based on that..Then certainly not based on performance in the last two series..So basically...Why ask players to play regionally..If u make up u mind..U know what never mind.
I already know it's horseshit...U know it's horseshit.
Imma go ma bed
In reply to Andy99
Sadly true.
My biggest issue was with Carlos..Das it.
The rest of the team did pick itself.
What's the official story with Rampaul and Taylor..I keep reading and hearing conflicting stories..And the selectors s usual don't explain anything to anybody.
Why should they I guess
In reply to DIEHARD
Rampaul is a Kolpak player would have to give up his county contract to play for WI and I don't see him doing that but I also don't see the Bajan Mafia selecting him.
Taylor, did he retire or not or retire and then un-retire? I don't know whats his deal.
In reply to DIEHARD
WHAAAAAT! So the other Braithwaite was a solid pick? I love him for test cricket but he can't sufficiently rotate the strike for limited overs cricket...
not at the international level...his strength is patience and should be playing test cricket only
In reply to SirGarny
IMO he was worth a pick to try but nah he ain't ready.
One he ain't scoring much and if he scoring a lil 20 or so he taking too long to do it.
Need to hit the gym and the nets, can become useful but not right now.
In reply to Andy99

But why "try" when you have more proven commodities as opening bats...
Then again I better be careful when I use the term "proven" when describing Windies batsmen......
but I think Walton would have been a more prudent selection.
In reply to SirGarny
i said i was going me bed but..
Kraigg topped the run charts...was hard to ignore him, with the slim pickings, even his SR could be tolerated.
The Carlos pick jus had no basis in reality
What series?
In reply to Andy99
I am in agreement with you 100%.
In reply to openning
In reply to DIEHARD... Rov can win games single handedly. CB needs luck.
