Why isn't K Harding further along in the Bim setup than Greaves. I know the Empire connection for Greaves but Harding is a much better option.

Kemar now injured
In reply to seaegg99
all along I was saying Harding if Roach injured....selectors can't be thinking straight to swap a pace bowler for a medium pace trundler....don't we think at all about developing our fast bowlers?.....How I miss former Barbadian Chairman of Selectors like Charlie Griffith and Keith Walcott!
Calm down Harding is in the 13, Greaves is a useful cricketer, he can bat and bowl
In reply to tc1
Forget about useful, the need is to develop viable players for international cricket. Greaves, on a fast bowlers wicket, look like a medium to sweet bowler. Enough of the politics and introduce some more speed to the game. Cummins as is Greaves are just not a very aggressive.

who are these fast bowlers? u cannot drop Greaves or Cummins if they are performing,
Chemar is recovering and Rishon is with the T&T, Jerome Jones has regressed and Keon is with the team.
In reply to tc1
Keon was there last year at the end too and never played. Greaves played last year and this. The youth did ok for CCC in the 50 over. Give him a chance now in he 4 day. We already can see what Greaves bring to the table. Just can't have Greaves and Stoute opening the bowling against GT.
Guess though with Kemar out he should be next in line.
In reply to seaegg99
Agreed, I had Keon as a replacement for Kemar since he is the quickest bowler in Bim, our fast bowling stock is not great at this time.
I would have added Zack Mccaskie or Shane Parris to the squad as Carter replacement.

Barbados squad: Kraigg Brathwaite (Captain), Anthony Alleyne, Shamarh Brooks, Roston Chase, Miguel Cummins, Shane Dowrich, Justin Greaves, Keon Harding, Shai Hope, Ashley Nurse, Kevin Stoute, Jomel Warrican, Kenroy Williams.
Someone will have to sit for him to play.

kool, a swap direct swap for Kemar
What happen to Kemar
In reply to tc1
You only picking guys from the West Coast?
I am trying to find Shane Parris name among the 2016 Elite division stats.
BCA Elite division averages 2016
In reply to openning
2016 maybe an off year,or in the UK but he was very productive 2015, 14 and 13 and produce at trials.Zack is not from the west coast.
In reply to openning
bye the way, Brooks, Hope, Dowrich, Greaves, Kemar are all West Coasters
In reply to Oilah
Word is he was in the vicinity of a can of Baygon.
Conflicting reports state that he ran into a shelf full of Bop.
In reply to tc1
Dude, you are not talking to someone thats not up-to date with BCA stats.
I can pull them up and show you, Shane Parris is not the kind of player you think he is.
If the BCA resort to a 1st division without the promotion system, some of these guys will be stuck in the Intermediate division.
Both Parrises guys had it easy at Maple, thats why it is very hard for anyone to argue for non-productive player
The same situation is happening to Boucher from Spartan
In reply to openning
I dare you, pull Parris record for the last 4 years, it better than most opening batsmen, it fact a couple of years ago he scored over 500 runs.
What you failed to realize Maple do not get the cream of the u19, Empire, Spartan, Wanderers and Pickwick
In reply to tc1
About time selectors in BIM get up off thier asses and expose the youths. No need fo three spinner in team at all. C Holder should be fast tracked also. Can't let pace sit at home.

You been telling me bout dis yout Harding. I saw him yesterday for the first time and he looked quick and you can tell he still got some filling out. I hope he develops into a genuine pacer.
