Sheik: Australia Looking Awesome!!

Sheik 2017-03-25 09:46:55

DREAMERS,

A BIT RESTLESS TONIGHT!!!

ANOTHER LONG DAY BEHIND THE WHEEL AHEAD OF ME!!!

WHILE TOSSING AND TURNING IN MY BED I COULD NOT HELP BUT THINK ABOUT THE AUSTRALIAN CRICKET TEAM THAT IS SLOWLY BEING PUT TOGETHER FOR THE ASHES AND BEYOND!!

THE NEW BALL ATTACK WILL SOON CONSIST OF THE FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE!!

STARC, HAZLEWOOD, CUMMINS AND PATTINSON!!!

ALL FOUR NOW APPEAR TO HAVE OVERCOME THEIR EARLY INJURY PROBLEMS!!!

STARC IS CURRENTLY DOWN WITH A NIGGLE BUT IS EXPECTED BACK SOON!!!

THE OTHER THREE ARE NOW FIRING ON ALL CYLINDERS!!!

THE BATTING IS IN VERY CAPABLE HANDS AS EVIDENCED BY THEIR BATTING OUT THE LAST DAY OF THE THIRD TEST AGAINST INDIA TO SECURE A DRAW!!!

ALL IN ALL THIS TEAM IS ALMOST CLOSE TO PERFECT!!

I WOULD NOT WANT TO BE JOE ROOT AT THE PRESENT MOMENT!!!!

OH RA$$!!!

FUNNY AS FCUK!!!

HA!HA!HA!

SHEIK

You will soon disappear, retired hurt like Devin. But coming to think of it, who is the Master Houdini of this MB, yourself or Devin?

Please don't answer...I'll try to figure it out.

big grin

They have done superbly in India. Kudos.

But this team has some way to go before being called even close to perfect.

You have Smith and Starc as world beaters.

As for the others, Warner has a prOblem with the moving ball. Renshaw and Handscombe are young and still not fully tested. Cummins is just returning after a long gap. Lyon is there and thereabouts but not a towering spinner. Pattinson and Hazelwood, well they're not yet that much of a threat (early days) but can become later. Mathew Wade, gritty player but he ain't no Gilchrist.

The Marsh brothers are meh. Maxwell is still a flashy player.

This team can be really good, but not yet. And England can take them (in England definitely, in Australia it will be a challenge)

By superbly you mean, won one, lost two and held on for a draw by the skin of their teeth? What do you describe as good? fair? bad? terrible?

Ridge 2017-03-27 09:30:55

He will not show up in another two years.

I have watched almost every session of this series live and know what I am talking about. Aussies were expected to roll over 4-0 when the arrived here. Instead they have taken one Test off us, held off a certain win by playing an amazing rearguard action in another Test, and in this last game they have traded blow for blow until the last session. If we win tomorrow, we will take the series 2-1 after a hard, hard struggle. No visiting team to India has done as well in Tests in a long time.

Since September 2016 ( I used that as a cutoff, because India has played all Tests at home, India's traditional bastion, since that date) India has played 4 series (one was a 1 Test series against Bangladesh)

We beat NZ 3-0 in a 3 Test series. Huge margins.

We gave England a 4-0 shellacking in a 5 Test series. Huge margins, 2 innings defeats.

We beat Bangladesh by 208 runs in that only Test.

On the other hand Australia has stretched us to the limit. Even the games we won were hard won. One was never sure where the game was heading. Commentators are calling it one of the most competitive series in recent history.

That's what I call competing superbly. What's your definition?

Totally agree with your summary. This cricket series was like watching 2 heavyweights standing toe to toe and delivering serious body blows. Last man standing. Great series. Wished other teams were as competitive.

A real world #1 vs World #2 battle..

runout 2017-03-27 16:18:30

Something must be said about the curators also. The pitches produced results, never mind the lone draw.

Cricket won. Lots of people would tell you that they do not recollect a more competitive series

Dharmashala is probably the best pitch of the series.

Was refreshing to see how The Indian quicks hurried the Aussies. They generated quite a bit of pace.

You are a comedian. First to say India is arrogant and ignore the boorish Aussies. I guess you have to hate India to tickle your fancy. And then to emulate Sheik???? That is some serious stuff right there. Put it this way, the new breed of Indians don't take nonsense from anyone. They dish it too and the Aussies are finding it tough to handle.

Listen Joker.

I am a Wondian who is ashamed to watch my team.
I had plans on going hom to watch Hingand OSI
also catch a 4 day game and T20.
I cancelled when I saw the ODI Squa.
Cause I knew we were in for a cut rass.

I am done with the Wondies Team.
I want to follow a team who won't give headache.

OZ is in transition and rebulding.
With all the injuries, they still competing.
You got to love Warner and Smithy.
Renshaw and Handscomh look the real deal.

A few injuries here and there,
a very tough schedule,
a very hard territory with doctored pitches
and still we should have won the 2nd test.
I sticking with my new boys.

OZZZZZZZZZZZZIIIIIEEEESSSS.

WE WILL BE #1 ACROSS ALL FORMATS SOON.

I AM JOINING SHEIK.

OH RA$$!!!

FUNNY AS FCUK!!!
