Well Done Sunil Ambris

You need to carry on being able to concentrate for long periods , obviously longivity at the crease ensures that the runs will come .

I am grateful that you have an
opportunity to play Cricket in
Barbados . where the standard is obviously higher than SVG and the Windward Islands Cricket Board with its asinine idea of having the
Windward Islands Cricket
Tournament play 4 innings in 2 days , which is utter stupidity .

There are people in this Forum who clearly state that
their approach to Cricket is clearly parochial rather than
Regional .

If all Bajans thought like that
You would never have gotten an Opportunity to play in Barbados .

My perspective is that it is only by having the best Players in the REgion having
an opportunity to play in other Countries in the Region can they learn & get valuable
knowledge from former great
players .

Sadly many people in the Region do not subscribe to that thinking or idea . THey prefer instead to have the West Indies Team packed with Players mainly from their
Country .

I am a firm believer that the Standard of Cricket in the
Region cannot , and will never
improve with that Backward &
Selfish perspective .

If only you follow cricket in the region you would be better inform, and not be surprise when posts are made about local cricket.
A number of regional players have been playing club cricket in T&T and Barbados for years.
Another player in the Windward squad is playing for my old club

As I have continuousy stated in this
Forum , the standard of CRicket in the rEgion is PISS POOR , One can easily discern this when the same
two or three Teams continuously win the Regional Tournaments .

This discernable imbalance does
absolutely nothing to raise the standard of Cricket in the Regionl .

This freaking fact has escaped many in the Region , and as a result , in the International Cricket Arena
WE are not as competitive as WE
should be . Especially in the longer
formats of the game .

IT aint about being wordy it is about

STARK FREAKING FACTS .

CRICKETERS IN THE WINDWARD

ISLANDS ARE SADDLED BY THE

ABSOLUTELY WORST CRICKET

BOARD IN THE REGION .

It is absolutely amazing that any
Player from the Windward Islands
can succeed in West Indies Cricket.

Imagine 4 Islands ,each with their
own Cricket Board cannot bring themselves to raise at least ten thousand dollars , so that the
Windward Islands Tournament have
a duration of 4 freaking days .

There was a time when the Windward Islands Tournament had a duration of 4 days . It is now as I
have stated 2 freaking days . Yet
they expect the Windward Islands
Team to be competitive in the REgional Tournaments . These cannot be serious People .

Great double century! I would like to see him give up the gloves and focus only on his batting. He has struggled for the most part this FC season although he has done very well in the Super50 version. Note that this ton was scored with Windwards batting first.

Both he and his brother Romel Currency have played cricket in Barbados and both have represented CCC.

The biggest shame is that we could not at minimum get a video stream. SKBCA and Cricket WI should be ashamed of themselves.

As I have stated on many occasions
whatever Cricket Talent that exists in the Windward Islands is not nurtured , because of the BIg Idiots
on the Windward Island Cricket Board , who bluntly refuse to change its asinine idea of having
the Premier Windward Islands Tournament have a duration of
4 days .

THIS WAS A TOURNAMENT THAT

USED TO HAVE A DURATION OF

4 DAYS .

The Big Idiots have mandated
that the Teams from Dominica ; St. Lucia ; St. Vincent & Grenada must
play 2 days matches against each
other .

In essence 4 innings are crammed
into two days . Now , the question
in my opinion is this :

HOW THE HELL CAN THOSE

SELECTED TO REPRESENT THE

WINDWARD ISLANDS ATTAIN

PROPER CONCENTRATION WHEN

PLAYING IN THE REGIONAL

TOURNAMENTS ????????

POINT 2017-03-26 12:31:05

I have not heard that the Windward
Islands Cricket Board has been banned from raising Funds .

It is extremely sad that the Cricket
Boards in the 4 islands that comprise the Windward Islands
cannot each raise at least 7 thousand dollars to once again
have the Windward Islands Tournament have a duration of 4 days .

Frankly Cricket in the WIndward Islands has sadly Regressed because the Tournament used to
have a duration of 4 days .

I agree with your assessment regarding Sunil Ambris give up being a Wicket Keeper , and concentrate only on batting .

I am sure that know why he was
christened Sunil ; I am still of the opinion that :

ALL CRICKET ACADEMIES IN THE

REGION MUST BE AVAILABLE TO

ALL PROMISING PLAYERS IN THE

REGION .

It is only by doing this that ultimately the Standard of Cricket
in the Region can improve and
ultimately our Players Standard in
the International Cricket Arena .

I do not ever intend to be persuaded
by those who prefer to look at cricket in the Region from a Parochial perspective rather than
a holistic point of view .
