Brendon King and Leveridge MUST play for JA

Brendon King, a brilliant, young stoke-maker should be given the opportunity to develop his enormous talent on the JA team, in all formats. His highest score of 191 made against Leewards was laden with boundaries and demonstrated he could become a quality batsman. While Leveridge, with his fiery pace if managed well, should rep WI in short-order, if he is allowed to play consistently. He already showed his abilities as in the first and second matches against B'dos, he had some WI batsmen, ducking, blocking, skipping and hopping, against some brutal fast bowling. Such a pity that his injury might have cost JA the championship. JA is already playing without the many experienced players absent for various reasons, therefore the best available players should play, as other teams like B'dos are playing with a full-strength team. Stephen Taylor should also be added to top order.

Walton and Talyor partnership worked well in the One Days, not a bad consideration to have them opining in the 4day, as JA top order has failed every match so far.

Any further losses without those players on the team, JA selectors must be blamed.

Regional selectors seems to be emulating WICB selectors with dubious selections. Why would a failed Palmer be picked ahead of King?

Hold on. Isn't this franchise cricket?

why they MUST play for Jamaica?

Aren't they free to be selected by any of the franchise teams?

You are correct but they have already signed on to the Yardie squad, so they should play!

Did Jamaica lose their last match?

In reply to imusic... were you on this planet the last two weeks?

What that have to do with if jamaica won their last match?

Is that a hypothetical question? Fail to see the correlation, as JA batsmen especially top order continues to fail.

Jamaica have used 19 players so far in the 8 PCL games they have played which shows just how much chopping and changing has been done.

Thought King was injured last week?

Let's hope he plays for the rest of the season.
