POLLY CANNOT NOW PLAY AHEAD OF JASON MOH.

total rubbish

analyst-kid 2017-03-30 16:03:56

both Pollard and Simmons should not be playing ahead of JMO and Carter.

timeless99 2017-03-30 16:04:16

None of them deserve a place in the squad holder main job is to bowl nd he bowled poorly and pollard played a shot am still searching for words to describe it

Pollard, Simmons, Holder, Rovman Powell all need to warm the bench next match. Let Jason Mohammed, Taylor, Carter and Fletcher play.

I really do regard Fletcher highly but really dont see a reason why these 4 need to bat.

Eventhough Holder hit a few big shots, his bowling and fielding today were below par.

timeless99 2017-03-30 16:19:25

I dnt think it's time to hit the panic button Jason mohammad for Powell and Taylor for.Holder should.be the changes

Guys it is the batting, not the bowling.
You cannot have a team with four batsman, and your number three hardly played any cricket in the last year.
Holder stays, Simmons ,and Powell fetch water.

methodic 2017-03-30 16:29:56

Same team

exactly...the bowling restricted Pak to a low score.

I would drop two out of Pollard, Simmons and Powell for Mohammed and Carter.

timeless99 2017-03-30 16:34:46

Holder drop a catch that went for 6 plus he midfielder a course ball and bowled poorly also Carlos bowled some hit me delivery and he went for for over 9 an over in a 7 an over game that cost us but 133 on that pitch should of been over hauled especially after 60 for 1 so it was a poor team effort

solidrock 2017-03-30 16:37:10

Polly cannot bat to a genuine fast bowler and a good spin bowler. He only finds some success facing a medium pace bowler. When he puts on WI cricket clothes he simply looks like a baboon with a bat!

if he could bat 25% of the way he fields and catches cricket balls he would be a decent batsman. big grin

Dude, 132 runs is gettable, especially with the average score at the QPO being 128.
Simmons, Pollard and Powell's wickets, cost the West Indies the match

timeless99 2017-03-30 17:15:02

Wen all the call for rovman was going on I did not join on to the bandwagon because he is just a raw talent and he is very poor against leg spin and he is not going to score runs against good spinners

natty_forever 2017-03-30 17:17:18

... well going off the last series, this team will not be changed for the next game.

natty_forever 2017-03-30 17:18:04

In reply to solidrock... he would be a super star!

Wow. How quickly things change. Two weeks ago someone claimed Rovman Powell should have been one of the four sure picks in the ODI squad. I did caution you folks after the lament about his exclusion, that we did not exclude Rohan Kanhai. Now reality has set in. Lol

natty_forever 2017-03-30 17:37:31

In reply to NYCGURU... no, most were saying he should get a game in the last match. See what it cause.

lol

so it was a poor team effort

Sums it up, only Samuels and Badree can hold their head high.

I'd say Kes too, but that last over..although i blame the skipper for tossing him the ball just then

I said he should have been a sure pick.

His weakness was not yet exposed.

Adil Rashid mighta did eat him food.

But i backed him to have an impact against the seam bowlers.

SR of the batsmen we selected just wasn't high enough, Rovman scores quickly when he scores, so i will still stand by that one of first four names claim I made.

There really are no sure picks in that ODI team, no one cementing their place or scoring at the right SR, other than Carter.

It's Just now looking like if the English played their cards right had he been selected and bowled Rashid to him first up..he wouldnt have scored

lol
