WI T20 strength is surrounding superstar Gayle and a world class lynchpin player in Marlon Samuels.
The selectors should be discarding the Pollards and Simmons for new hopeful stars

wasn't simmons an integral part of the world cup win recently?

Can you list the number of matches Simmons played since the wc?
Are we now picking players, without seeing them in any tournament for 6-8 months?

Simmons is a good T20 player mon, Windies should use him to open. Simmons in 2011 was beating Pakistan bowling all over the place.

I must ask you, because I am not getting any answer, how much cricket has Simmons played since the last WC?
In reply to jen... yes, however as openning asking ...

Simmons is rusty, and short of time in the middle, he was called out of his house to come play in the World T-20, we got lucky in one game.
They called him out of his house to come face international level bowling again, this time its looking ill advised.
Am sure Simmons will prove you all wrong Marlon Samuels did this game many of you all was calling for his head before this game. of the 22 players on the park he look the most at ease with conditions. Everyone on that team has failed for the last 2 t20 and the likes of Carlos and pollard had being failing for the past 5 or 6 matches this need to be address Carlos is not a leader.

I still cant decipher Samuels..hard man fi dead
Spends long periods of time looking incompetent..then comes up with an innings like this one today
SO I guess the coach is blameless

If Simmons is good he will prove himself.
But right now he is short of cricket and short of form.
Why all the blame is on the players how long were these guys together and the coach is mad man how can you attack a bowler and you got no clue which way the ball is spinning plus shadab apart pak bowling looks ordinary
My real anger is for Pollard. Pakistan was dead...WI were cruising needing 60 runs from 10 overs...a run a ball...and Mr Pollard goes down the track like a madman to a very deceptive legspinner....and in his final over at that!
Pollard has been playing too long to be getting away with so much stupidity.....there was absolutely no need for power hitting but he saw the local home QPO crowd and he wanted to entertain.

One small correction...'twas not his final over. Samuels faced his final over.
But I get your drift...Pollard batted like Bluto.
Simmons and Pollard should be kicked off this team. Both of them are just playing for quick money. They are not progressing in this WI setup.
